The sun shines through the window and I open one eye to look down at my sleeping mate. She is sprawled on top of me, with her head on my chest and her legs entwined with mine. Sparks erupt everywhere our skin is in contact. Storm is howling with joy, and I ask him to be quiet. Stupid mutt- this is too early to pitch a headache because of him. He snorts and howls one more time just because he can.
'Remember this stupid mutt can make your life pretty miserable, asshole.' Storm utters, lying down and rolling his eyes at me. I snort out loud, waking Selena. She lifts her head, her eyes sleepy and her hair tousled. She looks absolutely delicious like this. I want her in my arms and in my bed forever, but I know we have to get up at some point.
