8. Wedding

Marriage is like a music. Both are playing different instruments, different parts, but as long as you're playing from the same sheet of music you can create something beautiful

ATHENA

Today i woke up quite late although today is Amelia's wedding. Yesterday i was very tried due to bachelorette party and i didn't want to wake up at all. I took a quick shower and wore a casual cold shoulder red romper.

I entered the dinning room and saw Evelyn sitting with her head buried in her hand. I shook my head. This is expected afterall yesterday she was drinking alcohol like water.

I went inside the kitchen and saw maids working their. They all greeted when they saw me and i just nodded in reply. I started preparing two cups of strong black coffee.

I went towards Evelyn when i was done preparing coffee. I put the cup of coffee infront of her and sat beside her. She sniffed the coffee and sighed in relief

"You're a lifesaver Thea".she spoke while putting her head on my shoulder.

"Why do you drink so much when you can't handle it " i spoke.

"All fault is that of the game " she replied.

"Oh really, i saw you drinking even after we were done playing the game " i replied while narrowing my eyes.

"So what..it's my sister's bachelorette party " she replied.

I rolled my eyes on her.

"Where is Amelia " i asked

"She is getting ready for her grand and lavish wedding " she replied sarcastically.

When we were done with our coffee we went towards the dressing room to get ready. I saw our bridesmaids dress were layed on the bed. It's a very beautiful tulle lace gown. All the bridesmaids dress are of the same type but in different colors like mine is yellow while blue is for Meg and baby pink is for Eve.

"Stop looking at the dress as if it is a precious diamond " Evelyn spoke irritatingly.

"Just be because you're in a bad mood doesn't mean that you're going to spoil others mood " i spoke

"I am not in a bad mood....it's just that i am sad..." she replied

I can see sadness in her eyes. I went and sat beside her and put my had on her shoulder and spoke.

"Everything is going to be ok"

She nodded her head and gave me a small smile.

"I must say the dresses are very beautiful but don't tell her that i said this, it will boast her ego" she spoke with a wink.

After that we wore our gown and then the stylish came and started doing our makeup.

After 30mins they were done with our makeup and we were looking very beautiful. My hair is tied beautifully and i had a light makeup which went with my gown

I paired my dress with yellow heels and choosed simple accessories which included yellow floral tiara and floral diamond necklaces set.

I looked at Evelyn and she is also looking very beautiful. She is looking very cute in her pink tulle lace gown. She also had a simple yet beautiful makeup. She wore a pink tiara and pink diamond necklace.

She raised her one eyebrow when she saw me staring at her. I gave her a smile and spoke

"Let's go and see what Amelia is doing "

We walked towards Amelia's room and i was shocked to see the scene infront of me when i opened the door. She is sitting on the bed and is looking very beautiful in her Cinderella princess vintage wedding gown and is looking like a princess.

She also wore a floral veil and her hair was tied in a beautiful bun. She paired her gown with a beautiful ivory lace heels. Overall she is looking very elegant and beautiful.

"How do i look???" Lia asked shyly

"You look beautiful " i spoke while sitting beside her.

I looked at the necklace she is wearing. It's the very same necklace that i gifted her yesterday.

"You both are looking very pretty " i heard a voice .

When i turned around I saw Meg standing and it was then i realized her presence. She was wearing the bridesmaids dress but in blue color. Her hair was tied beautiful and she wore a blue tiara. She is looking like a cute and innocent fairy.

"Yeah it's kind of good " Evelyn replied with a eye roll.

Megan shook her head knowing the truth very well.

"Yellow color suits you Athena " Tiana complimented me.

"Thanks " i replied.

And it was then i saw her outfit properly. She is wearing her maid of honor dress which is a beautiful sweetheart neck midnight blue gown. She is looking very pretty with her light makeup face and her hair is tied in a elegant bun

Suddenly I heard Evelyn saying something to Amelia

"Amelia i know i was never the elder sister that you deserved but you were always the best younger sister i could ever have and i am going to miss you so much....don't forget to remember me."

I can see tears in her eyes. Evelyn is trying not to cry but i can see tears in her eyes

"I can never forget my careless and irresponsible sister " Amelia replied with a smile

"Don't you dare to make me cry . I spent 4 hours in getting ready " Amelia spoke and everyone started laughing.

"Come lets go or else we will get late" Meg spoke.

Everyone went towards their car and sat inside it.

After 30mins we reached our destination. I looked outside the window to see a beautiful church.

When i saw the church old memories flashes infront of my eyes no wonder why Amelia chose to get marry here.

We all stepped out of the car and i saw my father standing outside the church waiting for Lia.

Amelia had a big smile on her face when she saw father. There was a time when i loved him too, when we were a happy family but after she left everything changed. The only emotion I felt now is hatred!!!.

I shook my head trying to bring myself out of my past memories.

I saw a bouquet of pink tulips in Amelia's hand. Those are her favourite flowers. I looked down at the bouquet of flowers in my hand. It is a beautiful bouquet of lilac flowers. Amelia holds a bouquet of tulips while we all held a bouquet of lilac. It's a perfect combination. And it's a definitely Amelia's dream wedding.

Amelia took hold of father's hand and we all followed her. The entrance of church is beautiful decorated. When we entered the church everyone were looking at the bride and song the started playing. I looked around the church remembering my childhood memories. The church is beautiful decorated with white flowers and candles. This is my favourite church. We used to visit it every Sunday with her. She was a quite religious person.

I can see Lance standing at the end of the altar. Beside him his best man is standing. And if i am not wrong his best man is none other than his right hand man.

Anyways who cares about him.

We took our respective seats and the ceremony started. And i simply faded in background. I really hate those ceremonies. I came back to reality when the priest pronounce them husband and wife. I can see my sister blushing a lot. Everyone congratulated them. I looked around the church trying to search someone.

Maybe he didn't attended the wedding. I will deal with him later on.

After that we all left for the reception party that is going to be held in Hamilton's hotel.

As soon as i reached the hotel i went towards bride's room. Where Amelia is getting ready. When i entered the room i was shocked and at a point i thought that i entered the wrong room. But i sighed in relief when i saw Amelia's face.

But why is she wearing such kind of dress. It is a beautiful crimson color plunging neckline backless gown. It's a beautiful dress but not what Amelia usually wears. Maybe because today is her reception that she choose to wear such kind of dress. I don't know how she manages to look so innocent in such revealing dress also.

"What happened i am not looking good???" She asked when she saw me staring at her

"No , you looking beautiful but i am not used to see you in such kind of dress ". I replied

"I know but i thought to give her a makeover " Tiana replied.

I nodded my head.

"Don't you want to attend your sister's reception or what??? Go get dress up" Meg ordered me.

I nodded my head.

My family is the only one who can order me like this. If someone else tried to behave like this with me then they will we as good as dead.

I went towards the next room where i am going to get ready. I entered the room and saw Eve that was getting ready. She was wearing a beautiful Forest green shimmering gown with a slit. The stylish were doing here makeup.

"Oh you came go and wear the dress kept on the bed" Eve spoke.

I saw a beautiful Plunging neckline orchid silk gown Kept on the bed. I wore the dress and after that another stylish came to do my makeup. I went with my light makeup. She painted my lips in a pink color and applied pink eyeshadow. My hair is tied in a bun. I chose to wore a pink pendant and white heels.

After we were done with our makeup we went downstairs where the reception is going to be held.

When i entered the hall i was impressed by its decorations. The hall is beautiful decorated with white curtains and lights. Everything is in white. White represents new beginning which is perfect for this occasion. But what caught my attention were the varieties of food that were arranged beautiful and not to mention the delicious desserts.

"Hey you came on right time. Amelia is just going to cut the cake" Meg spoke. She is looking very pretty Silvery blossom puff sleeves gown.

It was then when I realized that Amelia is standing infront of a beautiful 5 tier white cake.

After the cake cutting Amelia and Lance had there first dance. Suddenly my eyes fell on a person who was sitting near the bar. I excused myself i went towards him. I sat beside him and ordered a glass of scotch.

"Hey, you must very happy afterall your friend got married today." I mocked him.

When he heard me he looked at me angrily. His anger can scare other people but not me.

"What do you mean???" I asked.

"Don't act to be so innocent because it doesn't suit you" i replied him sarcastically.

"Enlighten me " he asked.

"Ok, you were the one who spent those pictures Andew didn't you???" I replied angrily.

His eyes widened in Suprise and he asked "how do you know about the picture ??"

"Because i was the one who destroyed it " i spoke with a smirk.

"You what did you do??" He asked angrily

"I destroyed those pictures " i repeated.

"You don't have any idea what you did" he spoke.

"Of course I know what i did. Those photos were nothing but only a piece of manipulation. You can fool Amelia by those fake photos but not me" i spoke angrily.

"Those weren't fake photos " he replied while glaring at me.

"Ohh right those weren't fake photos but from which angle they were taken was wrong. You tried to manipulate situations showing that they were kissing " i spoke angrily.

I took a deep breath and continued speaking

"But in reality neither they were kissing nor they are in relationship. "

"Yes you're right they weren't kissing nor they are in relationships but you can't deny the fact that Lance has a childhood sweetheart." He replied.

"A childhood sweetheart about which no one knows anything. I can't decide sister's future on base of rumors " i replied

That's true i tried to find out about this mysterious childhood sweetheart but didn't found anything. Either this is a rumor or someone is trying to protect her.

I saw Andrew breathing heavily and he looked very angry. He closed his eyes and after few seconds he opens. I can see fire in his eyes. He started speaking.

"Athena you messed with the wrong person. I never hated someone so much until now. I hate you with my whole hate. You're going to pay for it. Mark my words!!!

With these i walked away leaving me all alone.

I was never hurt so much by anyone's word till now. I saw his figure disappearing slowly and i felt like he was walking away from my life. I wanted to stop him

But i didn't

I don't know why i was feeling like this. I didn't want to accept but i very small part of me liked him. I don't why or how but i started liking him. But doesn't matters know.

I drank the glass scotch and plastered a fake smile on my face and went back to the party.

I saw Amelia had a big smile on her face and she was standing beside Lance with his arms wrapped around her waist. They look like a perfect couple.

On the other side Evelyn is busy flirting with some random guy while Megan is talking with some girls.

They all looked happy and that's all it matters. I would rather walk my whole life in darkness then ever let any of sibling come near that darkness. I will always protect them and keep them safe.

That is the only reason for my living....
