7. Bachelorette Party

ATHENA

Today is such a beautiful day. Sun is shining brightly . I am sitting in our garden, looking at the beautiful flowers. It brought a smile on my face when i saw a butterfly and i was about to chase it when i saw a figure walking towards me.

"Mom" i said when i saw the figure that was walking towards me.

She is looking pretty as usual . She had a smile on her face .

"Oh my sweetheart " she spoke while caressing my hair lovingly.

I layed my head on her lap while she continues to caress my hair.

"I am so proud of you my princess, you have grown into a very fine lady." She spoke with a proud smile on her face.

"Really mom" i asked her.

She nodded her head and kissed my temple.

There is a sadness in her eyes . I don't know why she is sad.

"Goodbye Athena " she spoke with tears in her eyes.

"Mom"

I wanted to stop her but i couldn't. I just sat there seeing her disappear slowly.

Tears were streaming down my face. I was crying , wailing and calling out for my mother but she didn't came back. And then all of sudden everything went dark.

I started breathing heavily and i felt like i was having a panic attack. But can't do anything.

I suddenly woke up with a jerk.

Holy crap!!!!

I was still breathing heavily and was sweating. I buries my face in my hands and tried to control my heavy breathing.

After few minutes i was breathing normally and felt better. By now i am used to this type of dream. But still whenever I have this dream i feel like someone reopened my wounds. I sighed and walked towards the bathroom. Today is a very important day for sister and i can't waste my time on useless things.

I took a quick shower and wore a blue denims shorts and navy blue sweatshirt. I paired my outfit with white sneakers and braided my hair.

I walked towards the living room and saw Evelyn teasing Amelia and she was blushing a lot.

Eve greeted me when she saw me coming down.

"Good morning Thea"

"Morning Eve and Lia"

"So everything is ready for my sister's bachelorette party " i spoke with a smile .

"Listen guys, i don't want any strippers in my bachelorette party " Amelia spoke Seriously.

"What??? Are you insane bachelorette party without strippers. Like seriously!!!" Evelyn shouted.

"Relax Eve it's her bachelorette party so let het decide. If she doesn't want it then it's ok. " i spoke trying to convince.

"I promise i will appoint a bunch of strippers in your bachelorette party " i spoke.

"Ok fine, NO strippers happy"

Finally Evelyn was convinced.

"Finally the maid of honor came " Evelyn spoke all of sudden.

I turned around to see the person and saw a blonde girl walking towards us. She looked familiar but i can't remember her.

Wait!!! Did she said maid of honor???

It's means she is Lia's best friend Tiana.

"I am so so sorry for being late" Tiana apologized.

"It's ok" Amelia replied .

"Hey Athena " she greeted me.

"Hi"

"So everything is ready for the bachelorette party " she asked

I and Evelyn nodded our head and another 15mins was spent in teasing Amelia and making her blush.

Suddenly i was hugged tightly by someone and before i could see who the person is, i heard Eve shouting.

"Meg!!!!"

"Hi Meg" i spoke after she broke the hug.

"You're late you know that right??" Amelia spoke with fake anger.

"I am sorry , you know the fashion show was very important for me " Meg replied

"I hope you brought my wedding dress" Amelia asked

"Of course I did and it is one of my best creations " Meg replied with a proud smile.

"Let me show you " Meg spoke.

"Wait first freshen up and then you can show her the dress " i spoke.

"Come on i can get freshen up later but let the bride she her wedding dress first " Meg spoke while dragging Amelia with her.

So she is my beautiful ,talented cousin Megan Williams. She is a very beautiful girl with green eyes and brown hair and a body of a model. She is a very famous fashion designer and no one can beat her in that. She is the CEO of a very famous fashion company 'M&I'.

And i am very happy for her. But unfortunately is an orphan right now. She lost her parents in a car accident.

I remembered something and went towards my room to get that thing. After searching for 10mins i finally found the white box in the corner of my closet. I need to give this box the lia. With these thoughts i my mind i walked towards Amelia's room.

I was stunned to see the scene infront of me when i entered Amelia's room. She is looking very beautiful in her wedding gown. Then i looked down at the box in my hand and a small smile came on my face. I coughed nervously trying to get there attention.

"Ummm....i wanted to talk to Amelia in private " i spoke nervously.

"Sure, you guys talk i will go and freshen up " Meg spoke and walked out of the room.

I gave her the white box and there were tears in her eyes when she saw the stuff inside the box.

"Amelia i want you to wear this wedding gown tomorrow I.."

I stopped speaking and took a deep breath before i started speaking again.

"Look Lia i know that you miss her and if tomorrow you wear this dress on your big day then it will make you feel like she is with you. It will make her happy "

Amelia wiped her tears and took a deep breath and spoke

"I know Thea but what will make her more happy is that if wear this dress on your big day. "

I looked at her confusedly unable digest the fact.

"Thea you know she loved you more than anyone else could ever love you. Infact we all love you and i know that you trying to show everyone that you're fine but you aren't. You still haven't moved on."

My eyes started burning with tears and i can't say anything knowing that she is right.

"And by the way i like the dress designed by Meg. It's beautiful. " Amelia spoke with a smile.

I nodded my head and spoke " ok if this is what you want. I am fine with it "

With these i walked back to my room with the box in my hand.

My room was filled with darkness. There are so many people who are scared of darkness but i am not scare of darkness. There was a time when i was also scared darkness but after leaving in darkness for so many years that now i don't care.

I looked down at the box and hugged it tightly. I put my back on the door and let myself fall on the floor while tears were running down my cheeks. Amelia is right i still haven't moved on.

How can i moved on??? How can i forget her just like that.???

She won't be saying this if she knew the truth. Our family's dark secrets.

I walk in darkness so others can see light. I promised her that i will protect them all and i am not breaking that promise .

I took a deep breath and wiped my tears. I kept the box in the closet. And then all of sudden my eyes fell on a black velvet box.

Shit!!! I forgot to give Amelia her wedding gift. I quickly took the box and walked towards her room.

I didn't found her in the room and was about to walk away when my eyes fell on a brown envelope kept on the bed. It was unopened and curiosity took best of me.

I walked towards the envelope and didn't saw any name on it. I really didn't want to touch her personal stuffs but i don't know why but I felt like i should do it.

I opened the envelope and saw some photos in it. My eyes widened in Suprise when saw those photos.

I can't believe!!! How dare he.

I will definitely kill him for these.

Fucking cheating bastard!!!

Lance Hamilton!!!! That Asshole

Those were the photos of Lance and Scarlett kissing. My blood was boiling in anger. I knew that it is a arranged Marriage but can't believe that he can fall so low.

But there was something wrong in this photos. I looked at all the photos for almost 10mins and then realization drown to me.

It's nothing just a piece of manipulation.

And i know who did this.

I told him to stay away from her but i think he has some problem in understanding. Not an issue i have other ways to make him understand but right now i need to hid those photos.

If Amelia saw those photos then she will be heartbroken and i won't let that happen.

First i went to room and hide those photos carefully and then went to search for Amelia.

I found Amelia sitting on a swing in the garden. I went and sat beside her.

"Hey" i spoke softly

"Hi" she replied sadly

"Are you ok" i asked with concern.

"Yeah i am fine. It's just that i spent my whole life here and tomorrow i am going to marry. Tomorrow i will be no more Miss Paulsen but Mrs. Hamilton." She replied sadly.

"It doesn't matter Lia, you would still be my sister and we all are going to miss you so much" i spoke.

"I will miss you too my little sis" she spoke while pulling my cheeks.

"Ummm...it's a small wedding gift from me" i spoke nervously while passing her the box.

"You don't have too" she replied while opening the box.

She was shocked to see my gift and she spoke

"It's one of her creation"

"Yeah it's one of her last creations and i just modified little. I hope you like it. " i replied nervously.

"I love it Thea. Thanks a lot for this gift. Everything is perfect in this necklace even the arrangement of of diamonds" she spoke with admiration while hugging me.

"You will wear this tomorrow right??" I asked

She nodded her head happily .

I stood up to leave but was stopped when Amelia grabbed my wrist

"Can you promise something??" She asked me and nodded my head

"Be happy, live your life happily Athena you deserve it " she spoke.

I couldn't say anything so i nodded my head and then walked away.

I know what she means but i can't do what she wants. The secret which i know is killing me slowly and don't know till when i can keep that secret.

I was so engrossed in my thoughts that i didn't saw a person standing in my way and collided with that person. Due to this collision i lost my balance and was about to fall when a strong arm wrapped around my waist stopping me from falling.

I was so scared that i closed my eyes and waited for the fall but it never came. I slowly opened my eyes and was met with a familiar brown eyes.

A smile crept on my face when i saw who is that person

"Brother!!!" I shouted happily while hugging him tightly.

"Seems like someone missed me a lot" he spoke while returning my hug.

"Yes i missed you a lot Ashton "

"I missed you too my princess "

I giggled when i heard the familiar nickname.

"You know Lia is very angry on you for coming a day before her wedding " i spoke

"I know but you know the new project needed my attention. Anyways i came on time for the bachelorette party " he replied.

"Yeah right you are going to have bachelorette party with guys right" i asked.

"Yup afterall I need to make sure that Lance doesn't cheat on my sister " he replied.

I laughed seeing how my brother's protectiveness. That's true Ashton is very protective of us.

"Anyways i should go and freshen up. See you in evening " he spoke while walking towards his room.

In Evening,

I was getting ready for the bachelorette party. I choose to wear a Beige Retrograde bodycon dress and a Beige heels. I paired my outfit with beige color earrings and a beige sling bag. I went with simple makeup. I painted my lips with nude lipstick. I was looking hot. I am damn sure that many men are going to drool on me today. They can see me but can't touch me afterall i am off limits.



I gave myself a last glance in the mirror and then walked out of my room. When i went downstairs i saw that Evelyn is waiting in the living room.

She is looking very sexy in her Wine red sequinned mini dress. She had a smokey makeup and lips were painted in red color. Overall she was looking very pretty and hot.

"You look hot" i spoke

"I could say the same thing about you" she replied with a wink.

I laughed after hearing her reply.

After sometime Amelia came in the living room and she is looking very pretty and innocent in her Black white fur cape velvet cocktail dress. Her hair was tied in a elegant half up half down hairstyle.

"We are going in a bachelorette party not on some charity gala " Evelyn taunts with a eye roll.

"It's her bachelorette party so let her wear what she wants " i spoke with pleading eyes.

Evelyn sighed and didn't say anything further.

"Ok let's go " Amelia spoke.

"Wait!!" I spoke while taking a red ribbon and tying it around her eyes.

"What are you doing Thea" Amelia asked .

"We arranged your bachelorette party so the location is a secret for you" i replied

"Ok, but how will I walk " she asks

"Don't worry I will help you" Evely volunteered.

"I hope you won't let me fall" Amelia joked

"Well that's not a bad idea. If you break your leg then the wedding will be canceled and that will be so amazing " Evelyn spoke with a mischievous smile.

There was a ribbon on Amelia's eye but i still can feel her glaring her at Evelyn.

I laughed at there childish behavior and walked towards our car. I choose a black Porsche. It's one of my favorite thats why I choosed it.

After 45mins we reached our destination. We were outside a club whose name is Sapphire which is Amelia's favourite club. That is the only reason why we choose to celebrate her bachelorette party here.

Amelia was happy when she saw the place where her bachelorette party is going to be held. We went towards the VIP lounge which we booked . The VIP lounge was very huge and was dimly lit. I saw Megan sitting on one of the couch and was looking very beautiful in her Ruched pink bodycon dress. The room was filled with many people who were Amelia's friends.

"I can't believe it you're late for your own bachelorette party " Meg spoke while rolling her eyes.

Amelia gave her an apologetic look and sat on the couch. We took our respective seats.

After that Megan took out a tiara on which 'bride to be ' was written and made Amelia wear it. She giggled when saw the beautiful tiara.



"So now that the bride has arrived lets began the party " Tiana spoke.

Everyone nodded there head.

"So i just remembered a game that we used to play when we were in high school that is 'Never have i ever'." Evelyn suggested.

"Seriously that is so childish " Meg replied.

"I know but tomorrow Lia is getting married so let us recollect our old memories " Evelyn spoke and everyone looked convinced.

So we decided to play that game.

"So let's begin the game with btide" Tiana spoke.

"Ummm...ok so never have i ever got drunk in a charity gala " Amelia spoke .

After which Evelyn was the first one who took a shot and drank it in one go followed by many other girls. I am high tolerance to alcohol so i hardly get drunk.

"That was so lame" Evelyn taunts.

"So now my turn " Meg spoke excitedly.

"Never have i ever slept with any of my client "

She spoke and Again Evelyn drank a shot

"Seriously Eve" Amelia spoke shockingly.

"Of course " i replied before Eve could say anything.

"Oh common leave it. It's all in past now" Eve tried to change the topic.

But i now better than anyone that nothing is in past for Eve.

"Ok now it's Athena's turn" Meg spoke.

"Ummmm...never have i ever driven a car while being drunk. "

Evelyn again drank a shots. The way she is drinking she going to be drunk very soon.

After that game went on and it was really fun. After sometime everyone stopped playing and started talking about there embarrassing or funny moments.

I saw Amelia laughing, smiling and i was really happy for her. I hope she is always stay like this. I can't see tears in her eyes.

Infact i can't see sadness or tears in any of my siblings eyes.

I will always protect them no matter what happens.
