GABRIELLA POV
School closing for the day, I got home and opened the door, but Mum was nowhere to be found. Where's she? She closes the door when going out, so I went straight to her room and saw her sleeping. I smiled; she must be tired. I didn't want to disturb her, so I closed the door gently and went to my room. I took off my uniform and changed into simple clothes.
I went to the kitchen to make lunch, but when I got there, I saw that Mum had already made spaghetti for lunch. I took a little and started eating when my phone rang. I checked the caller; it was my boss, Mr. Daniel, calling. I picked it up.
"Hey, Gabby, where are you?" he asked.
"I'm at home, sir. I just came back from school," I replied.
"Please come to work quickly. I need you to deliver some pizza for me," he said.
"Okay, sir. I will be there in a flash," I assured him.
"Don't keep me waiting," he said and hung up.
I quickly ate my lunch, took my bag, and rushed out of the house.
Ten minutes later, when I entered the pizza shop, Mr. Daniel called me.
"Here is the address of the Cole's residence. Take this pizza and deliver it to them," I collected the address, and he left for his office.
I took the delivery bike and went straight to the house with the address given to me. When I got there, I was checked by the security before entering the main gate. I went to the front door and pressed the doorbell. After about fifteen minutes, the door opened, revealing Eric. I was shocked to see him; so this is where he lives.
We both stood staring at each other when I broke the silence. "I'm here to deliver this pizza to the Cole's," I stated shyly.
He looked at me for a very long time, which made me feel uncomfortable.
"Hey," I said.
He collected the pizza from me and gave me 100 bucks and signed. I collected the money.
He looked at me one more time before closing the door without saying a word. "What's wrong with him? Why was he looking as if he saw a ghost?"
ERIC POV
I went to the kitchen to get a glass of milk when I heard the doorbell ring. "Kira, go get the door," I yelled from the kitchen.
I didn't hear any response from Kira, but Mum answered from her room, "I think it's the pizza I ordered for you guys."
"Okay, where is the money?" I asked.
"Just pay for it; I will give you back," she replied.
I walked to the door and opened it, only to see the new girl from school standing in front of me. Immediately, I was surprised. Is she stalking me? I was also caught by her beauty. I couldn't take my eyes off her. I was checking her out when she broke the silence.
"I'm here to deliver this pizza to the Cole's," she stated shyly.
I looked at her for a very long time. Her beauty was like that of a goddess. Why didn't I notice her earlier?
"Hey!" she said, making me look at her lips.
I quickly collected the pizza from her and gave her 100 bucks and signed. She collected the money without saying anything.
I looked at her one more time before closing the door.
"Oh my gosh, what's wrong with me? Why couldn't I say anything? I was just staring at her awkwardly. Why didn't I notice her earlier at school today? She is so beautiful. She has a nice shape and curves, and her lips are so perfect."
"Eric, where is the pizza?" Kira's voice brought me back to reality.
"What?" I asked.
"Where is the pizza?" she asked again.
"Oh, here," I answered, giving her the pizza. "What's wrong with you, and why is your face so red?" she asked.
"Nothing, just take the pizza and stop asking silly questions," I groaned.
"Fine, if you say so," she said, collecting the pizza.
I went to my room and lay down on my bed. "What is this feeling I'm feeling right now? I have never felt like this before for any girl. Why is she different? I really don't understand myself anymore. I think I should let Ethan know about this. Maybe he can be of little help." I was still thinking when the door opened, and Ethan walked in.
"Hey, where are you coming from?" I asked.
"What kind of question is that?" he replied.
"I need to know as your brother because the last time I checked, school closed by two, and it's already four," I told him.
"Well, I went to meet someone. Anyways, is Mum at home?" he asked.
"I don't know. The last time I checked, she was preparing to go see Aunt Marleen," I told him.
"Alright," he said, sitting down beside me. "Yuck, what's that smell? You smell like you just finished having s*x," I said, moving away from him.
"So what?" he commented.
"Go have a shower, please, before I puke here," I said.
"Don't worry, when the time comes, you'll know what you are missing, bro," he smirked and went to the bathroom. "He's so naughty. He will never change," I said and shook my head.
KIRA POV
I invited Lily to come over to my place so we can do our assignment together. Mum decided to order pizza. I was in my room when I heard Eric screaming my name.
"Kira, go get the door!" Eric yelled.
He was in the kitchen, and I'm in my room. He expects me to go get the door, but I'm busy here. I ignored him, pretending not to hear his call, and continued doing what I was doing. "I think it's the pizza Mum ordered," I said to myself. But I didn't move an inch; I was still where I was when I heard Mum responding to Eric's call and asking him to pay for the pizza. I smirked.
After a few minutes, I went downstairs to get the pizza. I entered the kitchen, but the pizza was not there. "Where did Eric keep it? Eric! Eric!" I called him, but he was not answering. So I decided to check the sitting room when I saw him leaning on the door.
I went closer to him. "Eric, where's the pizza?" I asked.
"What?" he asked.
"Where is the pizza?" I asked again.
"Oh, here," he said, giving me the pizza. "What's wrong with you, and why is your face so red?" I asked.
"Nothing, just take the pizza and stop asking silly questions," he groaned.
"Fine! If you say so," I said, collecting the pizza from him.
I went back to the kitchen to prepare orange juice. When I was done, I called Lily to know where she was. She picked up on the second ring.
"Hey Lily, where are you?" I asked.
"I'm on my way," Lily replied.
"Okay, be fast about that. I'm waiting," I told her.
"Okay," she responded, and I hung up.
I took the pizza and the jug containing the orange juice to my room and set them on the table. Then I went to the bathroom to have a quick shower.
One hour later, I was lying on the bed when Lily came in. "Hey," she said, hugging me.
"I thought you said you were on your way, so what kept you so long?" I asked.
"I'm sorry. I had a flat tire, so I had to look for someone to fix it for me," she said.
"Okay, so can we start now?" I asked her.
"Not so fast. I'm hungry. I can't study on an empty stomach," she pouted her lips.
"Silly, I know you will always ask for something to eat, and I've got you covered. There's pizza and orange juice. So can we start now?" I said.
"Sure," she replied.
I shook my head and rolled my eyes.
ETHAN POV
I was busy with my phone when Eric came and sat beside me. "Ethan, can I ask you something?" he said.
"Okay, what is it?" I asked.
"Have you ever fallen in love before?" I laughed at his question because it sounded awkward to my ears.
"Seriously, Eric? Why are you asking me?" I replied to him with a question.
"Can you advise me on love?" he asked another question again, which made me look at him surprised.
"Wait, are you in love with someone?" I replied, asking him another question.
"I don't know, Ethan. But seeing her for the second time today, I felt something different inside of me," he said.
"Eric, my advice to you is don't fall in love because all girls are the same," I said, trying to kill his hope.
"You suck, seriously. I will ask Kira instead. You're a waste of time," he said and left the room.
"What is wrong with him? Why is he so interested in love all of a sudden? Well, whatever. I don't do love."
