ERIC POV School has just begun today, as usual, I always wake up before Ethan. We both shared the same room but different beds, apart from Kira who has her own room. I went to the bathroom to take a shower. I came out with the towel around my waist, and Ethan was still sleeping. "Ethan, come on, wake up. You don't want to be late for school on the first day of resumption," I said, pushing him off the bed. "Hey, what's your problem?" Ethan said angrily. "My problem is for you to get up and get ready for school, or I will call Mom," I said, heading to the door. "You are so annoying," he said as he walked to the bathroom grumbling. Mom always wets his bed with water when he refuses to wake up. That's why he's always afraid of her. Nobody wants their bed wet. I put on my school uniform, a white shirt, black pants, and a black tie. That's what Ethan and I wear, but we wear different ties to look different from each other. And did I mention that we own the school? Yeah, we do. After dressing, I went straight to the kitchen and I saw Mom and Kira talking. Kira is already dressed for school. "Good morning, Mom," I greeted and also pecked Kira on her cheek. "Where is your brother?" Mom asked. "He will be out soon," I replied. "That boy needs to be serious with his academics this session. He always wakes up late," Mom said. "That's his business," Kira said. "I'm hungry," I said. "Kira, go set the table. Food is almost ready." After eating, we drove to school in our different cars. Mine is black, Ethan's is red, and Kira's is white. When we got to school and parked our cars, some students stood and admired us. That's how cool we are. I just ignored them as usual, but Kira and Ethan loved to be the center of attention. I saw a girl standing in my way to class, but she looked at me as if she was lost in thought. I ignored her and walked past her. She looks like a newbie because I have never seen her before. GABRIELLA POV I got to school early. I went to the secretary's office to register and collect my timetable, and a map was given to me for guidance. I was on my way to class with the help of the map. I saw a handsome guy walking towards me. He had this authoritative aura around him, like an ice prince. Everyone gave way for him, but I couldn't, for I was mesmerized by his handsome face and elegance. When I saw him coming in my direction, to my surprise, my heart began to beat at a fast rate. I don't know why. "Oh my God, he's coming my way," but my expectations were cut short when he walked past me. I just watched him as he passed me and went into his class. That's when I remembered that I had to find my class. I thought reading the map to locate my class would be easy, but I stared at the map and was confused. Then I saw a girl walking past me, and I quickly stopped her and asked about my class, showing her the map. "I'm headed that way now. We can go together," she said, smiling. "Okay, thank you so much," we started walking when she broke the silence between us. "I guess you are new?" she asked. "Yes, I just started today," I said shyly. "That's nice. Anyway, I'm Annabel, but people around call me Anny," she said, pulling her hand out for a handshake. "Okay, I'm Gabriella," I said, accepting the handshake. "Please call me Gabby," I said, smiling. We were still walking when she said, "We're here, Class B." "Thanks," I said to her. "Never mind. You're new here, so no big deal. So, if you don't mind, can we be friends?" she asked. "Yeah," I said. "Okay then, I will see you during lunchtime," she said. "Alright," I said. "See you later," she turned and entered the next class after mine. I went inside the class, and everyone was staring at me. I felt nervous, but I quickly located an empty seat and sat down. I was trying to adjust when a teacher walked in with books in her hands and dropped the books on the table. "Good morning, class," she greeted. "Good morning, Mrs. Barnes," the whole class replied simultaneously. "I was told we have a new student today. Please, can you introduce yourself?" she said. I stood up nervously and said, "My name is Gabriella Monte, but you can call me Gabby." "Okay, Gabby. That's a nice name," then she focused her attention on the whole class and advised, "As you all know, you have to take your studies here seriously to avoid withdrawal. You may sit down now," she said and turned to the board. As she was still writing, the guy from the hallway entered the class without greeting Mrs. Barnes. "Eric, why are you coming to class now?" Miss Barnes asked, facing him. "I am sorry, ma'am. I was handling some issues," he said. "I won't tolerate late coming to class from you and your brother this session. So, you better make sure this never repeats itself again," Mrs. Barnes said. "Okay, ma'am, it won't," he said. "And where is your brother?" she asked him. "I don't know, Mrs. Barnes," he replied coldly. "Never mind. Go and sit down," she told him. He went and sat down behind me. Oh my God, he is sitting right behind me. After the second lesson for the day, the bell rang for lunchtime. Everyone started leaving the class randomly. I just sat down, not knowing where to go, and probably waiting for Anny. I turned back and saw him still seated and writing something in his book. I started staring at him. Wow, he's so handsome. He has a straight, pointed nose. His lips are so pink, and he looks more like a demigod. As I was still staring, he caught me and smirked. "Why are you staring at me like that?" he asked. "What?" ERIC POV When the bell rang, I noticed everyone leaving the class, except for the new girl. I brought out my book and started writing a song that just popped into my head. I love music, and I feel like writing my own song won't be a problem. As I was writing, I felt the new girl staring at me. I kept ignoring her, but I found out that I could not concentrate. I looked up and saw her still looking at me. "Why are you starting at me like that?" I asked. "What?" she stammered. "Whatever, just stop staring and let me concentrate on what I'm doing," I said. I noticed she bent her head in embarrassment. I started writing again when my phone rang. I checked the caller and saw it was Ethan calling, so I picked it up. "What is it?" I asked. "Where are you? Aren't you hungry?" Ethan asked. "No, I'm not. Why are you asking?" I said. "Come over to the cafeteria. There is something going on here," he said. "And what could that be?" I asked. "Stop asking questions and come," he said and hung up. "What is it this time?" I stood up, and I noticed the new girl standing up as well. "What?" I asked her. "Please, can you direct me to the restroom, please?" she asked shyly. I just looked at her and went out of the class, and she followed me. We got downstairs, I turned to her. "Just take the stairs on your right, you will find the restroom there," I said and left her without waiting for a thank you. I went straight to the cafeteria. When I got there, I saw Alicia and Mabel fighting. I sighted Ethan, and he came close to me. "Why are they fighting?" I asked. "They're fighting over you, dude," he said, smiling. I looked at them and scoffed. These girls are really something else. I don't even notice them, and all they do is fight over me. "Eric, I think you should give one of them the chance, just date them," Ethan smirked. "What about you? Why don't you date them? After all, we are twins, and they can barely differentiate us," I said. "Really? I will think about that," he said. "By the way, why were you not in class?" I asked. "I was busy," he replied. "Busy? With what?" I asked. "I don't think you should know. I don't want you spilling it to Mom and Dad," he said. I knew what he meant. "Ethan, when will you stop misbehaving and take things seriously? I know you were fooling around with those silly girlfriends of yours," I asked. "Well, it's not my fault. They throw themselves at me, so I give them what they want." "You will never change. Anyway, I was busy when you called me. I need to go," I told him. "Alright then, but won't you separate them first?" Ethan said. I looked at him and left without saying a word. "So pathetic, girls fighting over someone who doesn't even notice them."
