Katies POV

'We should go somewhere and talk, I can't believe all of this.'

'Yeah I know a place, lets go'

I followed James and we headed somewhere quiet to talk.

'James this is so surreal, I can't believe this, how did you get out of there?'

'I saw an opportunity to break lose and I took it, Thanks to some of the experiments they did on me my strength was enhanced which made things easier to get away. As soon as my memories came back and I remembered you I couldn't give up on you, I had to keep looking. We didn't know eachother long but I felt connected to you, I thought you were amazing and I couldn't bare leaving you there with those people.'

'James..I thought you were amazing too, You were like no one I had ever met, God I hate those b*****ds for making me forget you.'

'So how did you get out of there?'

'Same as you, I'm still not one hundered percent sure how to use whatever abilities their testing gave me but I did manage to fight my way out of there.'

'Jeeez Katie, I was so happy when I saw you again.' He leaned in and placed a soft kiss on the corner of my mouth. 'So I want to ask ypu something, would you like to go on a date with me tonight? Get to know eachother a little better?'

I couldn't help but smile at his question, 'I'd love to.'

*A few hours later*

I was in my room getting ready, trying to find the perfect outfit for my date with James. I finally settled on a beautiful dark blue dress. It had spaghetti straps, hugged my breasts and waist perfectly and flowed out from the waist and stopped just above my knees. I did my hair and my makeup and I was ready just on time.

I headed downstairs and James was waiting for me.

'Wow, you look beautiful.'

'You don't look so bad yourself.'

We got in the car and James drove us to our destination, We headed up to a rooftop that was decorated beautiful with twinkling lights, flowers, pillows, blankets snacks, drinks and a projector and screen.

'Oh my gosh, James did you do all this? Its beautiful!'

'I wanted to do something special, I found out what your favourite movie is and we're going to watch it.'

'James this is amazing! You're amazing!'

We cuddled up, watched a movie, ate our snacks, laughed and talked. It was a perfect night. Once the date was over we headed back to Tonys house. James walked me to my room.

'Thank you for tonight James, it really was the most perfect night.'

'You deserve the world and more.'

He leaned in and kissed me, gently then took a step back and looked into my eyes. I pulled him closer and kissed him again. I opened the door to my room and we stepped inside. James and I spent the night together and it was the most perfect end to the most perfect night.

*The next morning*

I woke up in James' arms and couldn't help but smile.

'Good morning handsome.'

'Good morning to you beautiful.'

'You know I dont remember the last time i slept so well.' I said snuggling closer.

'Me either babe, it feels good.'

James and I got up and headed to the gym to train. After a solid training session I headed to get a shower and get changed then went to join the others for breakfast. James hadn't arrived yet.

Tony looked at me out of the corner of his eye. 'So Katie, where were you last night?'

'I was just out.'

'With anyone in particular?'

You looked at Tony suspiciously.

'Just because you were out last night and James was also out. Was that just a coincidence?'

'Okay okay Tony you got me, I was on a date with James last night.'

Everyone looked back and forth between eachother, thinking you didn't notice.

'Okay guys what is it?'

Grace took a step towards me. 'Nothing sweetie, its nothing.' she said looking towards David.

David looked back at me 'Its just you guys don't really know eachother, are you not rushing into this.'

'Look, I appreciate you guys looking out for me but you dont understand, theres more to the situation, it's not as cut and dry as it seems. Tony can I talk to you?'

Tony and I head into another room and I explained to Tony how I knew James and that I really cared about him. I made him promise to keep it to himself not just for my sake but for James too. Tony wrapped me in a hug 'You know I would never say a word, you can trust me, I love you.'

Later on after lunch I was sat in the living room watching TV. James came in and sat down next to me. 'Hey you, I wanted to talk to you.'

I switched off the TV and turned to him. 'Sure, what about?'

'I've been wanting to say this since I saw you walk through that door a few weeks back, I didn't want to incase you thought it was too soon but honestly after our date last night I don't care if it's too soon I just have to tell you..Katie I'm in love with you, I fell in love with you the moment I first saw you, when you stuck up for me and spent time with me, I spent the last five years in love with you and now I finally have you it just doesn't seem really. Sorry if you feel like its too soon but I just needed to tell you.'

'James, its not too soon, I feel the exact same, I love you too, so much!'

James kissed me and wrapped me in a tight hug. I felt safe in his arms, like nothing could hurt me. I felt at home.
