A show of strength.

Katie POV

A few months had passed and things were going really well with James and I. Me and Tony were closer than ever and I was even becoming closer to Grace, David, Sam and Steve. We were starting to feel like one big family and it felt good.

After breakfast one morning I gathered everyone in the living room. I was finally ready to open up to the others about my seven missing years and what happened to me when I was there.

'Hey everyone, so I called you all here to talk about something really difficult. Tony and James already know but now I feel like its time to be honest with you all too.'

James stood up and walked over to me. 'Are you sure you're ready for this?'

'Yeah, i'm ready.'

I explained everything to everyone and when I was done I took a deep breath and James wrapped his arms around me.

Grace came over and hugged us both 'Oh my gosh sweetie I had no idea you'd been through all of that, we knew about James but I had no idea you'd been to that same awful place.'

I finally released myself from the hug. 'Guys theres something else, something that I haven't talked to James or Tony about yet.'

Everyone looks at you. You take a step back and take a deep breath. You began to focus and everyone gasped as your eyes started glowing blue. Your fingers started tingling and a blue force of energy started eminating from you. You lifted a vase of flowers and threw it against the wall. You stumbled and James caught you.

'Katie are you okay?!'

'I..I'm fine I just havent learned to focus and control my power yet so it tires me out quickly.'

Everyone else walked over to me. Tony looked at me in disbelief. 'Ohh my baby sister what did they do to you in that place. I can't believe I spent all of this time mad at you and all of this was happening to you.'

'Don't feel bad, its not like you could've known. I'm okay now. I have you guys and you all make me feel safe and loved. I just didn't want to keep anything from any of you anymore. I've decided I don't want to be afraid anymore. I want to embrace this side of me and learn to conrol this so that god forbid I ever get into a situation like that again i'm prepared and can defend myself.'

James took my hand. 'You know we'll all help you as much as we can, if this is what you want we're all behind you one hundred percent.'

I looked around at everyone and I couldn't help but smile. I felt so lucky to have all of these wonderful people in my life.
