Nirnay trailed closely behind Adhyarth, and soon, the three of them were inside one of the hotel rooms. They were in the midst of a discussion when Adhyarth’s phone rang. Excusing himself, he stepped out of the room to answer the call. Standing in the quiet lobby just outside, Adhyarth had an unobstructed view of the party unfolding in the hall below. His sharp gaze wandered across the crowd as he continued his phone conversation. In that moment, something suspicious caught his eye. A man handed a small plastic bag to one of the waiters. The waiter, acting discreetly, mixed the contents of the bag into a glass of juice and carried it over to Ada, who sat unaware of what had just transpired. With a smile, Ada picked up the glass and drank its contents. Adhyarth’s temper flared instantly, his anger surging like a storm. Without wasting another moment, he dialed his bodyguard’s number. Speaking in a firm, commanding tone, he instructed the bodyguard to remove Ada from the party without causing a scene and ensure she was seated in his car. Once the call ended, he swiftly sent a cryptic message to someone, his fingers moving with precision. Moments later, his bodyguard, acting with stealth and efficiency, managed to escort Ada out of the party without drawing attention. She was gently settled into Adhyarth’s car. By now, the drug had taken full effect on Ada’s system. Her body swayed, and her speech became a series of incoherent murmurs, the words tumbling out in a dazed state. Adhyarth, however, did not return to the room. Instead, he made his way to the elevator, pressing the button for the terrace floor. His mind was ablaze with thoughts as he ascended, each moment sharpening his resolve. When he arrived on the terrace, a scene of calculated intimidation greeted him. Seven of his bodyguards stood in formation, their firearms aimed directly at two men who knelt on the ground, visibly trembling. Their faces were pale, and sweat dripped from their brows as they awaited their fate. For half an hour, Adhyarth handled the situation with cold efficiency before leaving the terrace and returning to his car. He slid into the backseat, where Ada was still seated, her intoxicated state making her fidgety and restless. As soon as Adhyarth was inside, the driver and bodyguard, who had been waiting outside, got into the front seats, and the car sped toward his villa. Inside the car, Ada’s behavior grew increasingly unpredictable. She leaned toward Adhyarth repeatedly, her hands reaching out to pull him closer. Her intent was unmistakable—she wanted to kiss him. But Adhyarth, with a self-control born of iron will, kept turning his face away, ignoring her advances. Frustrated by his resistance, Ada climbed onto his lap, her persistence unwavering. This time, she pressed her lips to his, catching him off guard. Sensing the shift in mood, the driver quickly activated the partition, granting the pair privacy in the backseat. Adhyarth, no longer able to hold back, kissed her passionately. Their lips moved together in an exchange that grew more fervent with each passing second. Ada’s unrelenting energy seemed boundless, while Adhyarth kissed her with such intensity that his breath came in ragged gasps. Yet, Ada seemed insatiable, pulling him in for another kiss as soon as he pulled away. Breaking the kiss, Adhyarth placed his hands gently on her shoulders, pushing her back slightly. His voice was low and filled with a mix of concern and restraint. “Ada, don’t do something you’ll regret tomorrow.” But his words fell on deaf ears. Ada, overwhelmed by the drug coursing through her veins, couldn’t comprehend his caution. Her movements grew more urgent as she tried once again to close the gap between them. After what felt like an eternity, the car finally pulled up outside Adhyarth’s sprawling villa. Without hesitation, he stepped out and opened the door on Ada’s side. Bending down, he scooped her into his arms with practiced ease, carrying her inside. As they entered the grand hall of the villa, two lawyers stood waiting for them. Adhyarth placed Ada gently onto a plush sofa and took a seat beside her. His expression was a mixture of impatience and determination as he gestured for the lawyers to sit on the couch opposite them. Ada, however, was far from composed. Her intoxicated state rendered her restless, and she kept inching closer to Adhyarth, her fingers brushing against his arm. Adhyarth, visibly pained by the situation, turned to the lawyers and asked curtly, “Is everything ready?” One of the lawyers nodded and retrieved a file from his briefcase. He handed it over to Adhyarth, who carefully examined its contents. Satisfied, he signed the document with a flourish before turning to Ada. “Sign here,” he instructed, pointing to the designated spot on the paper. For several moments, Ada paid him no mind, her attention fixated solely on teasing him. But when her antics began to test his patience, Adhyarth’s voice rose in a sharp reprimand. “I said sign it right now, Ada!” Startled by his sudden outburst, Ada reluctantly picked up the pen and scribbled her signature where he indicated. A sly smile played on Adhyarth’s lips as he watched her comply. He handed the signed documents back to the lawyer and said, “Now get out of here. And make sure the rest of the process is completed by tomorrow. You know the consequences if it’s not.” The lawyer nodded hastily and left the villa, his steps hurried. The second lawyer stepped forward, presenting another file to Adhyarth. “Sir, the transaction is complete. Their 60% shares have been transferred to your name.” “Excellent work. You’re dismissed,” Adhyarth said, his tone cold but approving. Once the lawyers were gone, the atmosphere in the room shifted. Adhyarth turned his attention back to Ada, who was still dazed but determined. Lifting her effortlessly into his arms, he carried her to his bedroom. The door shut behind them, and Adhyarth gently placed her on the bed. But Ada wasn’t done. Her hands reached out for him, pulling him closer as she kissed him fervently. This time, Adhyarth surrendered to the moment, his restraint slipping away as he kissed her back with unbridled passion. Yet, as the intensity of the moment grew, a flicker of clarity passed through Adhyarth’s mind. He pulled away abruptly, his chest heaving with labored breaths. Walking over to a nearby drawer, he retrieved a small vial and syringe. Without hesitation, he injected the solution into Ada’s arm. Within moments, the drug’s effects began to subside, and Ada’s body relaxed as she drifted into a peaceful slumber. Adhyarth exhaled deeply, the tension in his shoulders easing. He stepped into the bathroom to freshen up and emerged a few minutes later, wearing only his trousers. Climbing into bed, he pulled Ada close, wrapping his arms protectively around her. The two lay intertwined, their breaths steadying as sleep claimed them both. The night had been tumultuous, but Adhyarth knew the morning would bring new challenges. To be continued...
