chapter 1 - Happy wedding wifey
A boy, around 27 or 28 years old, walked into a grand villa, carrying a girl in his arms. He entered a lavish bedroom and dropped her onto the bed, causing her to let out a soft whimper, but she didn’t react much beyond that. Moments later, the girl grabbed his hand and pulled him toward her, making him fall on top of her. A soft smile appeared on her lips as she leaned in and placed her lips on his. Feeling her lips on his, the boy froze for a moment. But then, overwhelmed by an intense emotion, he began kissing her passionately. Within minutes, the kiss deepened, leaving the girl breathless. She gently pushed him back, but he didn’t move. Instead, he whispered, "Ada, you’ve teased me, darling. Don’t you think you deserve some punishment?" Saying this, he leaned in and began kissing her passionately once more. --- **The Next Morning** When Ada woke up, her head throbbed with pain. She felt disoriented and was shocked to find herself in an unfamiliar room. Turning her gaze, she noticed a boy lying on the bed beside her. He was shirtless, and his muscular body glistened in the morning light. His facial features were sharp, with slightly long, messy hair that made him look even more attractive. For a moment, Ada found herself staring at him, unable to look away. Then she glanced down at herself, relieved to find that she was still fully clothed. Taking a deep breath, her initial relief turned into anger. She kicked the boy off the bed, causing him to fall with a loud thud onto the floor. The boy, landing on a mattress that softened the fall, stood up, dusting himself off. He walked over to Ada, grabbed her jaw, and said, "Oh, my dear wifey! So much anger? And at your husband, no less." After a brief pause, he added, "No, darling. Don’t make this mistake again." Ada smirked and replied, "Oh, so Mr. Adhyarth Khurana is drunk already this early in the morning? Talking nonsense about me being your wife?" She laughed aloud. Watching her laugh, Adhyarth smiled slyly and said, "My darling wifey, you don’t know this yet, but we got married last night. Legally, in fact." Ada froze in disbelief. She stared at him, trying to comprehend his words. Married? When did that happen? She had no memory of it. Sensing her confusion, Adhyarth said, "Ada, Ada... You have no idea how drunk you were last night." Ada remained silent, her thoughts racing as blurry images from the previous night began to surface in her mind. --- **Flashback** The scene was Mumbai's seven-star hotel, *Hotel Blue Moon*, where a grand birthday party was being held for Meena Kapoor, Ada’s mother. The party was packed with Mumbai’s elite businessmen. Meena Kapoor and her husband, Ashish Kapoor, greeted guests warmly. Standing to one side was a young woman in a stunning black strapless floral gown. Her fair complexion, hazel eyes, and curly hair flowing freely made her look like a princess. Around her neck was a delicate diamond pendant. She observed her parents without emotion, her face unreadable. Suddenly, a hand on her shoulder made her turn around. Standing behind her was another young woman holding a newly branded iPhone in one hand and a Chanel purse in the other. Seeing her, Ada smiled faintly and hugged her. "Ruha, where were you?" Ruha adjusted her hair and replied, "Got stuck in Mumbai traffic, you know how it is!" She gave Ada a once-over and added, "Girl, you’re looking killer tonight. Heads are definitely going to turn!" Ada rolled her eyes. "If your drama is over, can we talk normally now?" Ruha pouted playfully. "Come on, Ada. Stop sulking for once. A smile would do you good!" She pinched Ada’s cheeks, but Ada remained stoic. Ruha sighed and said, "How long will you keep punishing yourself over him? Forget him, Ada. Live your life by your own rules." Ada smirked and replied, "Ada only lives by her rules, Ruha. She won’t change for anyone, nor will she give anyone the chance to change her." Before Ruha could respond, a voice interrupted them. "So much pride, Miss Ada Kapoor. What if the Kapoor in your name changes someday?" Ada turned to see three handsome young men standing behind her. The one in the middle, who had spoken, smirked confidently. Ada responded coolly, "Ada doesn’t need Kapoor or any other surname. Ada is just Ada, and she’ll never rely on anyone else’s name, Mr. Adhyarth Khurana." Adhyarth stepped closer, brushing her hair back and whispering, "Oh, darling. That attitude of yours is what I love. I can do anything for it." "Go ahead and try, Mr. Khurana," Ada replied. "But remember, nothing—absolutely nothing—affects me." With that, she walked away to the bar. Here’s the English version of the chapter: Ruhani’s attention was completely captivated by one of the two boys who had come with Adhyarth. That boy, too, was looking at Ruhani with a soft and affectionate expression. A few moments later, the boy approached Ruhani, extending his hand with a charming smile and said, "Hey, beautiful! I'm Nirnay Khurana." “Oh, hi! I’m Ruhani Malhotra,” she replied, shaking his hand. Nirnay held her small, soft hand in his own, and it felt like he never wanted to let go. But just then, Adhyarth’s voice echoed from across the room. “Advik! Whenever you’re ready, make sure to drag this i***t along!” Adhyarth said and walked away, leaving Nirnay flustered. Hearing this, the third boy, Advik, who was Adhyarth’s best friend, covered his mouth, trying to suppress his laughter. Seeing Advik laugh like that, Nirnay’s expression soured as he quickly released Ruhani’s hand, flashed a sheepish grin, and rushed after Adhyarth. “Hey, man! Who humiliates someone in front of a girl like that?” Nirnay complained as he hurriedly caught up with Adhyarth. From behind, Advik burst out laughing again. “Go on, brother! Keep chasing girls! But your buddy knows exactly how to keep you in check!” he teased, clapping his hands in amusement. Nirnay’s face twisted in frustration as he trailed behind Adhyarth. Within moments, the three of them found themselves in one of the hotel rooms. They were discussing something when Adhyarth’s phone rang. Excusing himself, he stepped out of the room to take the call. From the hotel lobby where Adhyarth stood, the view of the party happening downstairs in the hall was crystal clear. As he spoke on the phone, Adhyarth’s eyes caught sight of a young man discreetly handing a small plastic bag to a waiter. The waiter took it, mixing its contents into a glass of juice, which he then carried over to Ada. Without any hesitation, Ada picked up the glass and began sipping the juice. To be continued...
