Chapter 16 : Dream state

........Three days later...............

I rolled out of bed still sore from the past three days on non-stop s*x. Both Jonah and I have missed a few hours of work. I groaned as I tried to stand up, nope not happening.

(Reya: Garrison. I don't think I can come in today.)

(Garrison: I understand kiddo. The cars will be waiting when your not as sore.)

(Reya: Thank you.) I managed to get myself out of bed and to the bathroom, where I took my morning piss. I scrunched my face in pain as I wiped my very sensitive area. I climbed off the toilet and flushed then washed my hands, I hobbled over to the bathtub and climbed down in, turning on the water and pouring in the lavender and vanilla bubble soap. I layed back relaxing until the tub was almost full, i turned off the water and dunked my head under the surface. I pulled my face back up and relaxed until I heard Jonah taking his morning piss. It sounded like a f*****g waterfall, he groaned and walked to the tub and crawled in with me. He was sitting at my feet, massaging them. I grabbed his large feet that were near me and did the same. We both sighed and relaxed.

"How are you feeling Kitten?" He asked after a large sigh.

"Sore as f**k babe." I responded. "But it is so much better than the burning." I crawled over to him and rested on his muscular chest, he wrapped his arms around me and put his head in my shoulder. We stayed there for a long time, so long I woke up without remembering falling asleep. Jonah had fallen asleep too, I looked around and saw Lani watching us.

"What?" I groaned out in a whisper.

"You two are so cute. And this bathroom is so much nicer than the one downstairs." She whispered back. "I figured you were off your heat when I didn't hear screaming as soon as I opened the door."

"Our room is sound proof." I was talking softly so I didn't wake Jonah.

"Well the whole town heard you guys after you left the pack-house." Lani gave me a dashing smile.

"That reminds me, I have to clean the seat of our bike." I said rolling my eyes. Lani put her hand over her mouth to stop the chuckle. "So whats up ma?"

"Oh, whenever you two are done, Hudson would like his Beta back. He was too nervous to come his exact words were, "Last time Reya nearly made him take her in front of my eyes." so tell me what happened."

"Jonah and I let our wolves have the day and when I got back to the house Hudson scared me. Jonah came back and shifted behind me, his full nakedness behind my clothed body. I wanted my mate and Hudson was taking to long to leave, so I may have put Jonah's hand on my clothed breast in front of my brother. I also may have threatened to let my mate take me in front of him." I sat still and used facial expressions because I didn't want to wake up Jonah. I felt his breathing and heart rate pick up and his body tensed, he groaned in his sleep, some nights he would just get random nightmares, I wanted to ask but I was afraid of his answer. His face scrunched up and I turned myself into him and cupped his face, I put my forehead on his and made happy memories take away whatever made him restless. He sighed and calmed down, his body relaxed and I went back to being his head rest, I kept my hand on his rib tattoo specifically the word mate.

"What was that?" Lani asked.

"I'm not 100% sure, all I know is that I can help him. So I do."

"He hasn't told you?"

"Mom, he'll tell me when he is ready. Tell Hudson, I'll return my mate to work as soon as I can." I said sighing. Lani got the hint and nodded, she left the room and I closed my eyes and leaned back on Jonah's chest. I kissed right over his heart and I layed there listening to him breath for a while.

"Jonah, wake up." I said lightly kissing his face, his eyes fluttered open and he looked down at me, he smiled and gave me a sweet kiss on the lips before realizing we were still in the tub.

"The water is cold Kitten, why didn't you wake me up sooner?" He asked surprised.

"I didn't feel the cold when i'm next to you. Plus you look so cute when you sleep."

"I doubt that Kitten." He sighed running his hand through his hair. I rolled my eyes and kissed him softly.

"You really do, especially when you dream about me. Your face lights up and sometimes you make a happy moan. Other times your hair ends up just right were all I can think about is riding your face until I die. The best times are when you hold me so close with a small smile. Even in your sleep you make me feel like the luckiest woman in the world." He held me tighter to him and set his lips on my temple.

"It's you right? You make them stop?" He asked.

"If I see it then yes. You make my pains and fears go away. I want to do the same for you." 

"Why don't you ever ask? Aren't you curious?"

"Of course I am, I know that when you're ready is when I will know. I will never force you to tell me something you're not prepared for." I closed my eyes as I heard a soft noise escape him. I held him tighter when I realized he was crying.

"They are terrible Reya, some nights I lose you, other nights...it gets so bad, and I can never stop it. I'm terrified that one day it will actually happen, that I wont be able to save you." I kissed him right above his heart and ran a hand through his hair.

"Those are your worst fears, I used to get night terrors after everything Ryan had done. He never attacked me, he always went after Hudson, you, Kane, Lani and Chris. I would wake up screaming and drenched in sweat, it's why whenever you would sleep over I would sleep in Lani and Chris's room. There was only one thing that helped Jo."

"What was it?"

"Fighting back. I made myself fight in the dreams, after a while I got the hang of it and I would kill him every night before he could kill any of you." I rubbed my hand on his rib tattoo while I talked.

"How do you fight back when you are paralyzed by fear?" I almost didn't hear with how soft he was talking. I closed my eyes and focused on the night terrors I used to have. I grabbed Jonah's hand and pulled him in. There we were in the dark room, this one was Hudson and a tiny terrified me. I showed Jonah how to breathe and how to lock the fear away, then I showed him everything I knew to fight your own worst fears. I pulled back and sighed.

"Will you come with me Kitten?" 

"I will do anything for you." I sighed as he did and I held his hand, we entered his mind and I saw how terrifying it was. There were monstrous beings all over ripping wolves to shreds. I took a deep breath and pushed my fear aside, I looked at Jonah who was crying. "Jonah push it down." I said he looked down at me and closed his eyes. I heard a growl and saw a beast in front of me, I evaded his swing and shoved my fist in it's chest and ripped it's heart out. Jonah growled and ran into the fight he saved a version of me from the beasts and I went to him and ripped another one to shreds. We killed them all leaving nothing but our family and friends alive. I looked at myself and saw something strange, I reached over and I hissed at myself.

"What is it Kitten?" He asked. 

"Something isn't right. If this were just a dream we would've woken up like we did in mine. This is something else Jonah. I think someone has tampered with your head." I said looking up at him.

"Very clever." A voice said walking toward us, a man appeared with Dark hair and caramel colored skin, his silver eyes had a storm grey color around hid iris. 

"Who the f**k are you and what are you doing in my mates head?" I growled at him. I was tiny compared to him but I would fight him need be.

"I am King Riot tiny wolf. And I am here on behalf of the moon-goddess, she is aware of who Jonah is, a warrior graduate of Kingsville Academy. She also knows who you are pup, Reya Fox, formerly Summers, she wanted to test you both." The King said.

"Why?" I asked raising my eyebrow.

"I see why Allison likes you tiny wolf. You are fierce like her, anyway our moon-goddess wants Broken-Arrow and Stone-tree to combine packs, Stone-tree is vulnerable to these kind of attacks. Broken-Arrow may be a peaceful pack, but you have the numbers for an army. Not to mention a new Alpha is on the rise, he is as feared as I was, ask Chris about Alpha Riot and he may s**t his pants." The king said laughing. "He is something fierce and he needs his mate to save him. Hopefully he realizes this on time, you know before she rejects his stupid ass."

"What about Cairo? He is future Alpha of Stone-tree and I never wanted that position."

"Cairo doesn't want it. His mother is forcing it on him, Clyde knows how much stronger you are and he wants you to take over. You just have to convince Luna Kirsten that you are better for the packs." 

"Can't you pop into their heads and tell them like you are to us?" I asked annoyed. He chuckled and looked down at me smiling.

"You are so much like her you could be twins."

"If you are talking about my mother, I swear I don't care how tall you are or who the fuck...." I was silenced as he held his hand up.

"Not your mother, my mate Queen Tempest. You are fierce just like she is." 

"Well then thank you. I like being compared to the Queen." I said fluffing my short brown hair. I heard Jonah chuckle from beside me and King Riot looked at him.

"You remind me of Zander. Aka King Talon, you were perfect with Reya from the start as he was with Allison. Before I run out of time, i can only see you because you have overcome your greatest fears. Please help the moon-goddess with her task for you, she is kind and will reward you."

"King Riot I have everything I want, almost, the only thing I don't have is something that can't be given to me." I said looking down.

"Don't think like that sweetheart." My head flew up and I ran to Sergio and held him tightly. His wolf head resting on my shoulder.

"Sergio!" I cried out. "Ti amo papa!"

"Ti amo Tesoro." I heard him say back. "Reya if you wont do this for the goddess, or the pack do it for me. The world is dangerous and i need to know you are as safe as possible."

"I will do it for you papa." I whispered.

"Good. Jonah, you will have to train the warriors with your skills from the academy, Reya you finally get to meet his training partners and hear their juicy stories." I giggled and bounded back to Jonah who was glaring at the ground.

"Jack is gonna be the worst." I heard him mumble .

"We have to go now Tesoro, please tell Alpha Hudson I said thank you again, that monster deserves to rot." Sergio said before he ran into the darkness.

"Reya, embrace yourself. Show the world how strong you are, don't let the fear of showing them stop you." King Riot said as he pulled off his shirt. His chest and abdomen were covered in scars like mine. I tilted my head at his back after he winked at me then ran off into the darkness after Sergio.

We woke up in the tub to see it was dark outside.

"Well that was interesting." Jonah mumbled.
