Chapter 17: Alpha Reya

"Holy shit..." Hudson said with large eyes.

"I thought you said you would be fine with Cairo being Alpha." Luna Kristen sneered at me.

Jonah and I had climbed out of the tub last night and called Hudson asking him to have Alpha Clyde come and visit our pack again, telling him we had an update on the blood rouge situation. We also invited Queen Tempest and King Talon, seeing as I did see King Riot. We told them everything as soon as everyone settled in the conference room.

"You saw Spencer?" The queen asked, her eyes were full of tears, she looked happy and sad at the same time.

"I did. He told me to embrace these." I said lifting my shirt and pointing to my scars. "He also showed me his." A few tears left her eyes and King Talon embraced her.

"What else did he say?" The king asked.

"He told me I reminded him of you and the Reya and Queen Tempest could be twins with how fierce they both are." Jonah said from beside me. King Talon laughed and smiled down at the table.

"Luna Kristen I had no intention of taking the Alpha title from Cairo, but it seems that a higher power deems it so." I said turning my attention back to Clyde's wife.

"How can you be a real Alpha? You can't even produce an heir." She spat at me. I was on her in seconds my hands around her throat choking the life from her body.

"If you EVER use that against me again, you wont survive." I snarled at her. I felt myself get pulled from her, yet I kept snarling.

"Like you could hurt me, Clyde would have your head." She snarled back. 

"Enough!" A loud voice boomed. I turned to see King Riot standing behind Jonah, making my large mate look small. "Luna Kristen, I had more hope for you than I should've. Reya wasn't lying to you, she even told me she doesn't want the title, but the moon-goddess wants to combine the packs. The best way to do that is if Hudson leads Broken-Arrow and Reya takes Stone-tree." Riot said as he walked over beside Tempest and Talon, putting a hand on each shoulder. He whispered in their ears and they nodded, they each placed a kiss on his dimpled cheeks before his eyes met mine.

"Pleasure to see you again King Riot." I said and he smiled at me.

"Reya, Jonah. Thank you for taking the message seriously, and for inviting my mates here." He said looking between Jonah and myself.

"It would be stupid to ignore a request from a king." I said rolling my eyes. "Plus we thought that Queen Tempest and King Talon should probably be aware of two packs joining one another."

"I see it now Spence." Talon said tilting his head while looking at me. Riot was smiling down at him.

"I don't know what you are talking about. I'm blonde." Queen Tempest said flipping her hair. 

"Oh I know, I saw the toaster incident the other day love." Riot said smiling down at her, her mouth flopped open in offence and she slapped his chest, while he laughed.

"Not to mention I'm tiny and Queen Tempest is tall." I said leaning into Jonah's side.

"Yeah you are a tiny little wolf." Riot said laughing. Without thinking I stuck my tongue out at him and he roared with laughter. "Oh God. Ally that's all you darling!" He said trying to contain his laughter. Queen Tempest smiled over at me, I smiled back shyly.

"Seems like my favorite asshole has taken a liking to you Reya, and he doesn't like anyone." She said. I felt my smile grow and King Talon smiled looked at Jonah, who's eyes I felt on me.

"Well aside from us." Talon said. "Keeping on track before we completely forget why we are here, Alpha Clyde, do you have any objections about Reya taking the Alpha title?"

"No. I wanted her to take it after I met her on the plane."

"You What?!" Kristen shouted at him. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because she said she didn't want it. But you and I both know, no offense son, that Cairo is not Alpha material." Clyde said to his mate.

"I don't care! The position of Alpha will go to my son!" Kristen screeched. "That is the only reason I have stayed with you all of these years." She continued fuming. Clyde's eyes went wide, then they dropped in heartbreak. "I only ever wanted the Luna title and I got it finally after that b***h ran off. I couldn't wait for my son to be Alpha so he could finally get rid of you for me. But no, this little b***h had to waltz into our life and mess up my plans." 

I walked over to Clyde who had tears spilling from his eyes. "You aren't mates?" I asked.

"No. But I thought she loved me, now I'm ruined." He whispered. I was pissed, I stood and took Kristen's face in my hands.

"I, Reya Riggley, Alpha of Stone-tree sentence you Kristen, former Luna of Stone-tree to death as punishment of deceiving the Alpha and plotting his death. Do you have any last words?"

"Clyde?" She said panicking. He kept his eyes on the floor.

"Something you should've known, you don't f**k with my family." I said, then I snapped her neck and dropped her lifeless body to the ground. "Cairo, here now!" I commanded. He walked over and I forced myself into his head and I saw he knew nothing of Kristen's plans. "I did what had to be done." I said as  turned from him. I looked around, everyone was either looking at me with shock or amazement. Except for Jonah, he looked at me with pride, he walked over to me and kissed my forehead. 

"That was hot as hell Tiger." Jonah said against my temple. I chuckled lightly and inhaled his scent.

"Hudson." I said turning to my brother. He nodded urging me to go on. "I would like Stone-tree to move here. We have more land and less blood-rouges, that and I love my house." I felt Jonah chuckle behind me.

"I think that is wise Alpha Reya." I smiled at Riot who was smiling back at me. 

"Thank you kind Riot. Your opinion is valued." I said smiling at him. He chuckled and walked over to me, he pulled me from Jonah's arms and wrapped me up in a tight hug.

"I hope my daughter grows up to be like you Reya." He said still embracing me.

"It means a lot to hear you say that king Riot." He pulled away and walked back over to Queen Tempest and King Talon who were staring at him with wide eyes. I fell back into Jonah's familiar embrace and looked back at Hudson. "As for the prisoner who was gifted to you. I would like a public execution, she deserves to be feel the humiliation I used to feel whenever someone would see the scars." I said with no emotion Hudson nodded. 

"Are you always gonna be this blood thirsty small wolf?" Kane asked raising his eyebrow. "I hate to be rude, but being blood thirsty wont make you a good Alpha. There will be times it will come in handy, but for the most part the best Alpha's are only this savage when the time calls for it."

"Of course not Papa Kane. I just want her to pay, and Luna Kristen humiliated my family, she lied for years just to get somewhere in life that she wouldn't have gotten to without him. I will be a peaceful Alpha, but I will show my strength if I need to, even in times of peace." I said looking at him. 

"Then you will make a fine Alpha, Alpha Reya." 

"Hudson, who will be your Beta now?" I asked.

"I'm going to have Quinn take Beta and Paul will take the gamma position." He replied "Why?"

"Until I am familiar with the wolves at Stone-tree I need a Beta I can trust. I was hoping Papa Kane would take the role for a while, seeing as Jonah will be the Alpha male." I looked at Kane who nodded and to Hudson who was smiling at Jonah and I.

"You are brilliant Rey." He praised.

"Why thank you brother, your compliment is appreciated." I flipped my short hair and giggled. Everyone helped us hammer out a plan for how all of this would work. It was decided the Queen Tempest, King Talon, Clyde, Cairo, Jonah, Kane and I would go to Stone-tree and announce everything. The King and Queen would tell the pack that it was all done in front of their faces and that we have their blessing. Clyde would announce the news of Luna Kristen and how she had betrayed her pack, he would also tell them who I was, the only offspring of him and his true mate, the only true heir. I would then say my peace with Jonah at my side. We would say that we are willing to go through the trials to show the pack our dedication. I would tell them about Kane, and how he was a temp Beta until I learned more about the pack. The King and Queen would stay a few days while the rest of us would stay for two weeks. The day the packs were brought together would be the day that Valery was to be punished for her crimes against both packs. 

When the meeting was over I heard a small sob and I saw King Riot place a large kiss on Queen Tempest's lips before he smiled at me and disappeared. King Talon held the Queen as they left the room, I held on to Jonah, I couldn't imagine losing him. We left the room next and went to go get on the bike. Before we could take off Chris and Lani stopped us.

"You did amazing in there today honey!" Lani squealed as she pulled me into a hug.

"I'm proud of the Alpha I know you are going to be, Reya." Chris said pulling me into his own arms.

"Thank you Ma. I learned from the best Alpha I know Dad, and without you guys, I would probably be dead." I said as I kissed each of their cheeks. I got on the bike behind Jonah and we went home. We walked in the front door and I pulled him to the basement instead of to pack. 

"What are you doing Tiger?" Jonah purred as I moved around setting some s**t up.

"Well seeing as we are going to be really busy for the next few weeks, I don't know how much quality alone time we are going to be getting.
