Shade didn't say anything when he tugged my hand and led me down a quiet corridor off the med bay. The room we stepped into looked like it hadn't been used in years. Just a couple of chairs, one small window, and dust motes hanging in the sunbeam. I glanced around. The space was empty but open. It would make a perfect center room for a baby daycare.
