Jane's P . O . V I feigned sudden fatigue when I couldn't keep my thoughts in check anymore. It reached the very heights of it all and I just needed to get away from him and that too, fast. I kept my cool and just silently took each slow collected step beside him as he led me back into the house and down all the way to my door. Ignoring the drumming in my chest from the warmth our joined hands brought me, I peeked discreetly at him and wondered to myself just how perfectly well we would look together before I internally smacked myself several times on my head so perhaps my brain could move back and attain its rightful position because clearly there's been a shift up there somewhere.
