HER POV
I was standing in front of his bed room door watching him inches deep in another woman. He couldn't even be decent enough to had locked the door.
This wasn't the first time I had walked in on him, but this time was going to be different, cuz I had told myself this; I will never let a man hurt me again.
The Lady noticed me standing there and quickly pushed him away, trying to cover herself.
He looked me dead in the eyes, no remorse in it.
"What is it? why are you disturbing us, get away!", he screamed.
I flinched.
"Wh... who is she?", the lady ask.
"She's of no relevance, close my Goddamn door!", he screamed again.
"Carlos we talked about this", I said in a shaky voice.
He left the bed and wrapped the sheets around his waist.
He pulled me by my ear out of the room and into the hallway, he dragged me to my room. I was shaking, almost in tears.
"I'm tired of your bullshit, it seems like you have no respect for me, pack your things and get the f**k out of my house!", he yelled at me.
"Carlos please", I went on my knees. "I have no where to go and you know it".
"Get out! I don't want to fucken lay my hands on you, get out!", he screamed.
I started crying.
"I'm sorry for disturbing you, I'm sorry, I won't ever disturb you again", I cried.
But come to think about it, I'm apologizing to my boyfriend for cheating on me.
He didn't listen to me, he dragged a suitcase out and packed all my things in them, which was very easy because I had nothing in the house.
He went to the door, opened it and threw it outside.
It was raining heavily.
"Get out!", he screamed.
"Okay I will, but please at least let the rain reduce, please Carlos, don't do this to me, please ", I begged.
He gave me an umbrella.
Awwn, such kindness don't you think? Yeah until he pushed me out of his house into the rain and shut the door.
"Don't ever come back here you b***h!", he screamed.
I kept on banging on the door, begging him to let me in, but he didn't.
And that was how he chased me out of his house on a cold Tuesday night - rain heavily pouring.
I managed to get a shade and I pulled my drenched self up there and sat there, Sobbing.
I could go to work now and beg my boss to let me spend the night there, but I could be dead by morning.
It was better to risk it than to stay out here.
I left my suitcase there and then got into the rain and started walking to my work place. I don't know which blurred my eyes more, the rain or my tears.
I attempted crossing the road to the other side, an incoming car that was driving really fast definitely didn't see me, but it brushed me slightly when it passed, causing me to fall face flat on the ground.
I started crying again, not because I was in pain or anything, but because I honestly wished that car had killed me so I can rest.
Maybe if I stayed here a little longer, another car will come for me and finish me off.
I started hearing footsteps approaching and at that point I really didn't care if anyone would kill me, I just wanted this to end.
The rain around my body suddenly reduced and I felt a tall figure hover around me.
"Are you okay?", I hear a deep Italian voice speak.
"You should have just ran me over you know", I mumbled.
"What are you doing? get up", he said trying to lift me.
"I'm trying to get killed here, can't you see?".
I heard him sigh.
"She's alive, I think she's drunk come help me", I heard him say.
I heard a couple of footsteps and then I felt myself being lifted up.
I was face to face with three men and dressed in suit
One had very dark short hair, Sky blue eyes and a face that looked like it was sculpted by God himself . He looked at me with so much worry and concern.
"I'm sorry I almost ran you over, where's your house so I can drop you off?", he asked.
"Oh my house? I don't have one, I Just got kicked out, please can you drop me at my work place; Louisville Cafe? I'd be spending my night there, feel free to come and rob and kill me", I said.
"You're homeless?", he asked.
"Didn't I already make that clear? young man If you're not going to be of any help to me, let me be on my way ", I said attempting to go.
He pulled me back, "I have a better idea instead, come in my car", he said.
Normally I would never enter a strangers car. The fear that it could be one of the monsters from my past here to kidnap me again would haunt me. But I'm at the point in life where I don't care if anything happens to me.
So I reluctantly got in.
"You sure you want me in your fancy SUV? I'm wet ".
"Hop in Red", he said.
I scoffed,"Red?"
"The color of your dress? I don't think I need to know your name I'll Just call you that ", he said and they all zoomed off and some minutes later, we pulled up in front of this hotel.
We got out and headed to the reception.
"Look Mister suit and tie, whatever you are, I'm not interested in whatever this is, I'm not a w***e or some one night stand that you just pick from the street and sleep with, I'm going back to sleep under a tree", I said.
"That won't be necessary at all, I'm not planning on sleeping with you, I'm only giving you a place to stay".
He turned to the receptionist.
"Get her one of our finest rooms, take good care of her", he said.
I turned to him, "What's the catch? men like you don't ever give up something for free so casually "
"Men like me?", he asked surprised.
"Yes, so tell me what this comes with, let me know if it's something I can work with ".
I smiled, "Have a good night Red", he said and turned away and headed out to the hotel.
