"Who's that?" The boys' voice held a bit of amusement to it as he asked the question.
"His name's Lucas. Lucas Cahastile. Surely you know that name, Ty?"
The boy called Ty grinned as he watched Lucas leave the classroom, a cold and aloof air about him, "Lucas hu? No, I don't know him, Ki thanks for the introduction. He sounded like he was there during the start of the war. Must be nice to live a long life as a vampire."
"Don't tell him that, you'll only piss him off," the one named Ki said softly, "And he was there, he and his family are one of the Old Blooded Families."
"Old Blooded Families?"
"Dude, Ty. Really? Did you not do your homework when you were in school?"
"Home schooled," Ty beamed with a brilliant grin, his green eyes shining with a bit of mischief. The three boys seated around him laughed, hardly realizing that he wasn't joking in the matter.
"Well, welcome to the public school system, Tyrathane. As for your question, the Old Blooded Families simply means they were the very first vampires and they are the strongest ones to ever live and walk this planet," the one of his right was named Syter. "Ah... I see," Ty whispered.
The green eyed, black haired boy smiled at the three others that had been helping him throughout the day. However, what he wanted right then was to talk to the vampire who'd just left the room. The vampire's silver eyes and pale colored hair had been very intriguing, the kind of look that Ty liked.
"So, Ty," the voice on his left belonged to Grey, pulling him from his thoughts. Ty gave an inward sigh; his fantasies of the silver eyed boy had just started to get good too. Looking over he met the youth's dark gaze.
"What's up?"
"We were wondering about your grimoire. You said you had one when you introduced yourself this morning."
Ty grinned. Not many humans had a grimoire like his. Of course, not many humans had grimoires begin with. Slowly, he opened his mouth, sliding his tongue into view as he tilted his head off to the side and propped it against his hand. It was done in such a sensual manner that Ki blushed violently before quickly turning away.
Ty's tongue held a single piercing, a silver ball and bar straight through the center. The ball and the bar both had symbols carved into the metal. Ty let them all gaze at the strange grimoire before pulling his tongue back into his mouth.
"That's mine," he answered softly with a bit of a laugh at them all.
"So cool. That must be fun with the girls," Syter jested, laughing loudly at his own joke.
Ty continued to grin as he slid his eyes over to him, "Who said it was fun for just girls?"
As the boys either laughed or turned away embarrassed, Ty got up from his seat. He wanted to go see Lucas, talk to the vampire and perhaps get closer to him. There was maybe ten minutes left of their break, but that didn't bother Ty. He could find the vampire easily enough.
With a bit of concentration, he had Lucas' appearance clear in his mind. Once that was done, Ty felt a slight burn in his mouth. The grimoire activated, pulsing with magic. One of his specialties was finding people with his grimoire once he's seen them. It took a moment, but he soon figured out where the vampire had gone and started after him.
The hallway was crowded by the many different kinds of students who attended. The majority were human, yes, but there were still plenty that were not. Demons, demigods, vampires, Fairies and many more. Ty moved through the throng of students slowly, gently pushing through to find the one he wanted. The crowd cleared partway down the hall, opening to an intersecting hall. Ty turned left and followed it down at a fast pace.
There he is, Ty thought to himself a smile curving his lips. Lengthening his stride, he soon fell into step right beside Lucas. The vampire gave him a side glance and nothing else. Playing hard to get I see, Ty's grin grew wider as he interlaced his fingers and stretched them up over his head. Both boys were of about the same height, Lucas being just a tad shorter.
"I'm Tyrathane."
"I know."
"You sounded like you're a part of the war. Like you knew this... 'Kivar' personally."
The vampires beautiful silver eyes flicked over to Ty, narrowing at him. Ty's smile remained as he looked slightly downwards at the other boy.
"What do you want?" the vampire's voice had taken a rather cold tone. Lucas had stopped in the hallway and Ty followed suit. He turned so that he was facing the vampire.
Leaning against the wall, he shifted inwards, close to Lucas, his voice dropping to a sultry whisper, "I want to get to know you."
Lucas' face flushed a deep red as he watched Ty. It took him a moment to respond evenly, "Well, I don't"
"How cold of you," Ty said feigning hurt feelings, "However. I don't feel like taking no for an answer."
"Don't get close to me," Lucas growled back, his eyebrows scrunching together as he bared his fangs in a threatening fashion.
Ty pulled away slightly, laughter on the tip of his tongue, "Who said anything about getting close? I just want to get to know you. Or is it... that I'm your type?"
The gasp of air, widening of silver eyes and yet another blush, told Ty that he'd hit the nail on the head. Bingo, Ty thought triumphantly.
"Stay away from me. For your own good," Lucas spat and quickly stormed off.
Ty watched him go in amusement. He would let the boy go for the moment. However, "Well now, I just can't do that. Especially after being rejected so vehemently. That's like saying no to a kid with a piece of decadent candy already in their hands."
