COLTON POV

When Aphrodite told us that Brianna was in our room, I was furious. We have not had dealing with Brianna for about four months. Cameron and I broke it off because she was becoming too attached. We knew it would cause problems when and if we found our other mate. We all sat down and came to an understanding that it had to end. At the meeting Brianna seemed to be very relaxed, calm and understanding but I never thought she would go to these lengths when our mate got here. Unacceptable behavior. When we opened the door to our room, I was hit with the scent of rose petals. There was a trail of rose petals on the floor leading up to our bed. There she was, Brianna, naked as the day she was born giving us a seductive look. I threw up in my mouth, she looked disgusting.

“Brianna, why the hell are you in our bed?” I yelled. She rolled her eyes and got up, walking over to Cameron.

“Why don’t we all get comfortable in bed?” she said, smiling at Cam. What the hell is going on?

“We’d rather eat hot coils than to be in bed with your stench” I scrunch my nose up. Brianna's eyes popped out of her head and her mouth dropped.

“Cameron, you're just going to let him talk to me like that?” she whined.

“Cameron feels the same way about you that I do! Now get the hell out of our room! It’s already bad enough that now I have to burn my favorite sheets.” I rolled my eyes.

“Cameron..” Brianna was on the verge of tears. I did not care too much for them.

“Please leave our room Brianna, what we had ended long ago I thought we had an understanding about this” Cameron said annoyed.

“What?! You weren’t saying that this morning when you f****d me!” When I heard that, my eyes snapped to Cameron. He looked like he wanted to kill Brianna for what she just said. I wasn’t really looking too much for the anger I was looking deeper than that, deep in his mind to see if it was true. Cameron and I have an agreement we would never read each other's thoughts but I had to know. When we got here, I couldn’t find Cam so maybe what she was saying was true. I looked through his thoughts and my heart broke. What she was saying was true. How could he do this to me? How could he do this to our new mate? My face remained expressionless. I was hurt beyond anything. I am a vampire and Cameron is a werewolf, I wouldn’t feel his infidelity like another wolf would. Cameron was looking at me with guilt in his eyes. And something else, was that regret? I don’t know and I did not care. I was hurt. He was sneaking around behind my back to have s*x with her.

“So you had s*x with her this morning?” Our attention was diverted to the door. Aphrodite was standing at our door, leaning on our door frame with her arms crossed over her chest and a pained expression in her eyes. I wanted to comfort her but I knew that she probably wouldn’t let me. Who knew what she heard, she probably thought I was in on it. Now because of Cameron f**k up, we were going to lose our mate. Cameron looked at her with his mouth agape. He was not saying a word. Aphrodite looked at me, I just closed my eyes looking down, nodding my head. I heard her sigh, I could not hold my tears any longer they were rolling down my face. I felt someone hug me, I felt the sparks all over my body. I opened my eyes thinking it was Cameron, I was going to push him off but to my surprise it was Aphrodite. She was hugging me, she was comforting me. I hugged her back, letting the tears fall.

“Come on Colton.” she said softly, taking my hand leading me out the door. I couldn’t even look back at Cameron. When we got halfway down the hall, we heard yelling, screaming and things being thrown. Brianna came running out of our room, crying. Aphrodite looked like she wanted to go back to Cameron but I just held her hand firmly. I got out my phone and dialed Brandons number. He answered after two rings.

“Colton, what’s wrong?” he asked

“Cameron has been f*****g Brianna behind my back. Brianna exposed him now he is trashing our room. Please come get him.” I asked as calmly as possible.

“Yes, Alpha”. I hung up.

“Let’s go,” I told Aphrodite.

Aphrodite & I have been laying in bed for an hour watching Golden Girls. We have been laughing and joking the entire time. It was a beautiful and comforting distraction. I wanted to hold her close to me but I did not want her to think I was rebounding her. When Cameron and I came to talk to her earlier about adding her as a third we meant it. At least I meant it, I wanted our mate with us and only us. I took a deep breath. I reached my hand over waist and pulled her close to me. She didn’t even tense up, she actually snuggled under me like she was where she belonged. I was happy she was comfortable with me. I started rubbing her back, her skin was so soft and smooth. She looked up at me with her beautiful light hazel gray eyes. They were so beautiful. I caressed her smooth dark chocolate skin with my index finger. I love her skin. She’s as beautiful as the Moon Goddess herself. My eyes connected with her sexy pink lips, I licked my lips imagining me tasting her. She bit her bottom lip. I pulled her on top of me so she could straddle me, I saw the hesitation in her face.

“I want you & not because of what happened with Cameron.” I said with so much sincerity so she could understand and feel I was telling the truth. She smiled and nodded. I grabbed the side of her face, pulling her to me. I connect our foreheads together.

“I’m sorry about what happened earlier, what happened on the field will never happen again. I was just jealous because I want you to be ours and no one else's” I confessed. She looked shocked but smiled brightly at me.

“I would love to be yours but.. I’m sorry I don’t know if I can accept Cameron. If he can not be loyal to you then he won't be to me. I don’t need that heartbreak Cole” she said to me, she looked sad. I did not want her to be sad. I was also happy she would accept me but she had to accept Cameron too.

“I know he messed up Dite but we are a package deal. We are married and we will work it out. Don’t let that turn you away from him, he is a good man I promise you that.” I told her.

“Okay, I will think about it,” she said, biting her bottom lip. I wanted to kiss her to bad

“Can I kiss you?” I asked her. She looked me in my eyes and nodded. I did not wait a second more before claiming her lips with mine. Her lips were so soft, and her kisses were sweet. I licked her bottom lip, asking for entrance. She gave it to me, our tongues dancing around the fire in us. It was the best kiss I have ever had with a woman. I pulled away from her, we were both panting for air. Catching our breath, we just smiled at each other looking each other in the eyes. I knew, I knew then I loved her. And it hasn’t even been two whole days.

“I’ve wanted to do that since the moment I laid my eyes on you,” I confessed. She blushed.

“That was amazing,” she confessed to me. I was proud that she loved my kisses. I checked the time it was getting late, we had to get ready for the ceremony. I got up and told her I was going to get ready so I could greet the guest and I would see her later. I did not want to go but duty calls. I walked to me and Cameron’ room. It wasn’t a mess any more but Cameron was sitting on the floor with his head in his hands. I was going to ignore him but he killed the silence.

“I’m sorry baby” he said, he looked up at me and his eyes were red & puffy like he’d been crying. I wanted to comfort him right away but he had to understand what he did was not okay. I continued towards the walk-in closet so I could find something to wear. Obviously, he followed me.

“Baby, please don’t ignore me. I am sorry, I was weak. Aphrodite was driving me crazy and Brianna caught me in the moment. I’m sorry” he said. I could not believe what he was saying. He is speaking like he does not have any control at all!

“You could have had some control Cameron! Or hell f**k me! Don’t f**k someone else that we agreed to cut ties with!” I yelled at him.

“I know. I know. I’m sorry baby please forgive me” he got on his knees and begged me.

“Fine but you have A LOT of ass kissing to do and you WILL be banishing Brianna! I will not lose my mate because you can’t keep your d**k out of that w***e!” I demanded. He looked guilty but agreed to my request.

“I will do it right after the ceremony baby I promise” he told me. I nodded. He kissed my temple and we started looking for something to wear.
