The last dance

What the hell is going on?! She had not agreed to become the leader for some werewolfs!. Delaney turned to Damon, who looked at his pack with a big smile on his face. Okay, now she's getting angry.

" Damon" Delaney whispered.

" Yes?" He answered, still smiling.

Delaney gave him her sweetest smile and said " I am leaving now. I have seen that Alice is in good hands and now i have to return to my court. "

With that, her poisonous vines engulfed her in an orb and, just like that, she was gone.

Damon continued to stare at the spot where she had just disappeared while his mother was screaming and his warriors were running around getting ready to search for their Luna.

" Damon!"

A voice yelled in his ear, breaking through to him. He looked up and saw his mother looking at him with anger and worry.

" What", He answered, not hearing what she had said earlier.

" what is going on?! Where did she go?!" His mother yelled over all the fuss in the dining room.

" I-Idont know what happened. She only said that she had seen what she wanted and that she had to return", he said.

" Return?! She has a responsibility here!" His mother said.

" Im sorry to interrupt, my queen has a kingdom to rule if you haven't already forgotten."

Alice said from behind them. His mother whirled around to face her " She has a duty to my son! She can't just leave like that! " She yelled.

" Oh but she can , she has not agreed to anything here and she also didn't mate with Your Alpha yet" Alice said in a bored tone.

His mother turned to him completely ignoring Alice and said "You are going to go to her forsaken kingdom and get her f*****g back! She is your mate and no longer some cursed Queen"

And with that his mother walked with hurried steps, probably to go and complain to his father.

" Alice, Jason, my office NOW" he said, and started walking to his office.

The alpha of the Greenland pack sat in his office chair. In front of him were his beta and his mate, both very uncomfortable with the silence that had been lasting for ten long minutes. Damon couldn't wrap his head around what just happened. Tony, one of his guards, made a toast to Delaney, and then she just vanished.

"what do we do now?" Jason asked " Your mom wants us to get her back but we arent welcome there and she doesn't like you?"

Damon sighed and said " Jason shut up "

He needed time to think. Why didn't she accept him as her mate? Why did she leave everything when it went so well?

" Alice is there anyway i can talk to Delaney? " Damon asked.

" Well this time of year i know that she is hosting a ball to celebrate the harvest of the year ... i think i can get us in," Alice said.

And so they started planning.

" I have no idea what people even wear for these sorts of things " Damon sighed. They had been planning for three hours and Alice had started faking invitations for herself, Jason and Damon.

" A tux, take the most fancy clothing you have " Alice said and smiled. Jason was a very lucky man, Damon could see how his Beta looked at her like she was his entire world. Something inside him longed for that exact same feeling.

Four days later

Alice had managed to find a way back into Delaney's kingdom, but they had to be careful. So no one would recognize them, since Alice was still banned for life, and they were on their own right now. The Deadly garden was in full bloom, every tree and bush was full of leaves and flowers could be seen everywhere. They were careful not to touch anything, since neither of them had any antidote.

" Are you certain of this ? If her majesty gets angry we will have a problem and the other maids won't help us " Alice said, looking serious.

" I need to get my mate back and I won't tolerate anything else, so Jason lets go get our Luna back " Damon said with his Alpha voice. Jason nodded, not taking his eyes off Damon even for a second.

So together the three of them entered the castle ready o get their Luna back.
