"I understand." he simply replied.
"No you don't! feels like am all alone in this world. He is always away and too busy...." I trailed off realizing that I was in Tyler's arm in my room crying my eyes out.
I immediately stepped out of his grasp.
"Am sorry." I mumbled starring at the damp spot I had created on his black hoodie.
He shrugged.
"No apologies Lilah, no thank you's that's friendship." he replied.
"But we aren't friends...This is just a game, you don't have to." I mumbled.
"It isn't for me. It stopped being a game for me a long time ago Li." he Replied.
I gazed at him.
"So this is real." I whispered.
"Yes no more games." he replied.
I smiled.
"And there was no way in hell we were ever going to fall in love....It was a stupid idea." he replied.
"Yeah.....really stupid." I agreed.
He starred at my mom's picture which was beside my bed. He looked at me silently asking for permission, I nodded.
He took the picture up studying it for sometime.
"She is beautiful Now I know why you are so gorgeous." he complimented.
I grinned.
He starred at me for sometime.
" I have something to show you." he replied.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yes but you Lilah need to go and clean up.... inasmuch as I like you and am in this room talking to you, you stink so you need to hit the shower else I can already see the headline stinking heiress with your picture making the front cover of every newspaper in New York." he jokingly commented.
I chuckled.
"That won't be nice would it?"
He shook his head.
I turned to leave he called me back.
I turned back towards him.
"Am sorry about what I said in the library guess I was wrong about Jay." he replied.
I smiled.
**************************************
"Can I remove the blindfold now?" I asked excitedly immediately the car came to a stop.
"Not yet." he replied.
I patiently waited as I heard him opening the door I quickly unbuckled my seatbelt then he led me out of the car.
"Should I remove it now?" I asked excitedly like a child waiting to unravel his Christmas present.
"Yes." he simply replied.
I slowly removed the blindfold then frowned.
The artistic design, the water fountain, the beautiful rows of lilies and rose, the giant intimidating building, it seemed oddly familiar, I knew I have seen it somewhere.....in a newspaper more like a picture.....
I looked at him.
"You brought me to your house?" I asked confused.
He nodded.
"Wait, you thought it was a good idea to bring me here? why did you even bring me here?" I asked still shocked.
"Because I can, and I really want to show you something." he replied.
"Is that why you made me wear a blindfold? you know I would object if I had a hint of where you were taking me to right?" I asked.
He nodded.
"I hate you." I mumbled.
He chuckled.
"You have made that clear princess but live a little Lilah, what is the worst that can happen?" he asked.
"Well I have a few guesses, maybe you have a spy here who is working for my dad and immediately he sees me, he would tell my dad, that won't go well or Even worst maybe there is a shoot an Alexander at sight policy here...."
I looked at him shocked, he was laughing.
"Am about having a panic attack here and you are laughing?" I asked.
"This place though its a Louis property its not my family house and I don't have any shoot at sight an Alexander policy..."
"Yet." I mumbled.
He laughed.
"You are so cute when you get crazy." he commented.
I eyed him.
"What about the spy?" I asked.
He rolled his eyes.
"Seriously Li all my staff here goes through thorough background checkup before they are hired, even the gateman." he replied.
I shrugged.
"I have got trust issues when it comes to a Louis You shouldn't blame me." I replied.
He just shook his head and dragged me.
"Live a little Li." I mumbled to myself shrugging my hand from His.
He raised his brow I smiled then walking past him I made my way to his house.
I was about stepping a foot into his house when I stopped.
"What's wrong now?" He asked.
"I swear there are no hidden soldiers in there." He jokingly reassured.
"Its not that." I replied looking at him.
Noticing my serious tone he frowned.
"Then what is it?" He asked.
"In my world there are some doors am not meant to enter....some boundaries I shouldn't cross, this..." I said pointing at the giant closed doors.
"Is one of them."
He hugged me from behind surprising me.
"Follow me Lilah and you would be able to cross any door.... There would be no limit."
I turned to look at him our gaze locked into each other's.
I trusted him I realized.
Without realizing it, I nodded and holding his hand I pushed open the door altering everything I stood for as an Alexander as we both stepped into the building.
"Holy f*****g moly!" I mumbled immediately I set my eyes on the interiors of the house.
If the outside was artistic, the inside was f*****g art itself, it was a glorious exhibition, painting and sculptures of different famous artists arranged neatly in rows adorn the room.
My mouth am sure was hanging open.
"You like it?" He asked.
"Are you kidding me? I would be a sadist not to. I love it." I replied.
He shrugged.
"Then you would love what am about showing you." He replied.
He practically dragged me into the elevator.... Since I couldn't just get over the artistic wonder I just saw.
After what seems like forever, the elevator finally stopped... We were in the top floor. We both stepped out.
"Wow." I whispered touching the glass windows.
The view was breathtaking, the city from here looked like a painted canvas...
I was utterly fascinated and drawn by the breathtaking sight in front of me.
"Its gorgeous."
"Yes I know!"
I turned just remembering that Tyler was in the room.
He was sitting down in a plush cushion watching me I bet amused.
"I want to buy this place." I blurted out before I could stop myself.
"Its not up for sale and I do think it would be a bad idea...getting you out of here would be next to impossible." He replied.
I nodded agreeing with him.
