Alpha Blaze POV I jolted upright, Jordan’s scream echoing through the air, filling the silence, my first instinct to reach for her, as my eyes scanned the room and my ears listened for the sounds and sights of a potential threat or danger. I frowned. There was nothing. Jordan was sitting upright, gasping. I got up and turned the light on, coming back to the bed, and rubbed her back as she began to slowly calm down. “Sweetheart” I murmured “it was just a bad dream that’s all. Everything is fine. See, there is nothing in the room” I added. Surely she could just go back to sleep? “It wasn’t a dream” she whimpered and then her arm shot out and pushed me off the bed, sending me toppling to the floor. Ouch. That hurt.
