Chapter 12: Game Night (1) *** “Since I’m here at the 12 o’clock sign! I will start it all off! So my question is, how many people have they slept with? And I have to answer for Ciel!”Angelica pulled out the first note and read it out carefully. “I know the answer! Can I steal your point if I get it right and you don’t?” Frank asked while raising his hand almost like he was the smart kid in middle school eagerly wanting to answer the teacher’s question. Angelica turned to him. “Oh? I never thought about stealing points! I think that would be really good in audition. Alright! I will permit it… but first… looking at Ciel, I have to say you look like someone that really values having long term relations with someone before doing something like that so I will suggest… 3 people!” She said somewhat confidently. “I’m sorry… but that’s wrong.” Ciel slumped back into his nonexistent seat. If he could become one with the ground he would. “Me, me! Let me!” Frank eagerly continued to raise his hand all the more. “Go ahead Frank.” Angelica finally allowed him to give his guess. “He’s slept with one person and that’s the girlfriend that dumped him recently.” Frank boldly declared. “That true?” Angelica looked a bit shocked. “Yes…” Ciel nodded his head in agreement. “Seriously I was that close?” Angelica slumped her shoulders a bit disappointed. “Hell yeah, one point for me, and you drink it up!” Frank said as he raised both his hands Victoriously. “Good thing I’m strong when it comes to liquor!” Angelica boldly said. “I will make up that point later in the game.” She continued. Ciel was the next one to play. Since they were sitting as follows, Angelica-Ciel-Frank-Dante and every person on the left answers for the person on their right. “Next is me… My question is, what hobby do they have? That’s easy, Frank plays video games, he even knits sweaters sometimes cause he’s surprisingly good with his hands and-” Ciel was stopped mid sentence. “Yeah, you’re correct, please stop with that…” Frank who was surprisingly embarrassed by this placed both his hands onto the man’s mouth to shut him up. “Whoa… I didn’t think that you’d have such an old lady hobby!” Angelica laughed heartily as she leaned back. “I just happened to pick it up a while ago… I wanted to impress a girl and it never worked out.” Frank explained while allowing a large sigh to escape his lips. “You’re so earnest!” Angelica found it endearing but also just as funny. “I’m up now! So, my question is… Do you think they’re a top, bottom or switch…? That’s a bit awkward, isn’t it?” Frank said while pulling out the next card, he glanced at the man he had tro answer for. “But your person is Dante, so obviously you can tell!” Angelica remarked as she chuckled looking at her brother. “Yeah, I say Dante is a top, right?” Frank said while pulling back as if he was a bit scared to be hit if he got it wrong. “Hm…” Dante had an expression that was hard to read. “What do you mean? Do I… not get a point?” Frank asked while looking a bit upset. “You’re right, though for the right person I’d be anything…” Dante said while glancing at Ciel. “Eh??? Don’t eye Ciel like that! He likes me more, you know?” Angelica remarked as she leaned in and hugged him. “But I still got it right overall! I want at least half a point if exceptions of the rule count.” Frank said while raising his glass, he hadn’t drank anything at all and yet he seemed to be the most tipsy out of all of them. “Nah, make it a full point since you pretty much got it spot on.” Angelica remarked while writing it down, she was keeping score so they don’t get things confused later on. Dante who was the least enthusiastic about this game picked up the next card and read it out loud. “My turn… the question is, do they have an embarrassing secret? Angelica still keeps her baby blanket although she’s nearing her thirties-” Angelica intervened and shut him up quickly. “You damn… fine, it counts… Current score, Me-0, Ciel-1, Frank-2 and Dante-1. I didn’t think I’d get beat at my own game… what has this world come to?” She asked like a desperate princess in need of a savior. “Let’s continue!” Frank however was more motivated than before now that they’d played a round he knew how to win this. After all pointless games like these were his specialty. “It’s time to switch places though, so let’s go with this order now to keep it interesting, Ciel, Me, Dante, Frank…” Angelica said as they changed seats quickly. “Here I go… my question is, if that person would date the next one in the sequence… meaning if Angelica would be with Dante, no, obviously…” Ciel read it out quickly and answered just as quick. “That was too easy dammit! Me next, so, ‘does that person have someone they like?’ Obviously, it’s written all over his face! One point for me!” Angelica too didn’t fall behind with her answer. “Hmp… does that person have a good relationship with their family? I’d say yes.” Dante turned towards Frank and replied, the man nodded. “You’re right! My parents are awesome. So mine is… ‘what position is their favorite?’ Ugh… Ciel man… I don’t actually know that… um… doggy?” Frank said while “That’s embarrassing to ask… I’ll drink…” Ciel hastily picked up his glass and downed it down his throat. “Aw… dammit… we both lose…” Frank remarked as he did the same. “Now back to me again…” Angelica was having the most fun as it seemed, she liked spending time with this group of people as unexpected as that might be…
