Triple Date (5)

Chapter 11: Triple Date (5) *** Thus, the next triple date commenced! Only this time with the special guest, Frank… “Let’s play a drinking game! I’ll tell you the rules now.” Angelica said while raising her glass triumphantly. “Listening!” Frank was the most enthusiastic of all, the moment he heard the word ‘drinking’ he was already all in. “So, we all start out with these cards, hand made by yours truly… And we draw, each one gets a question that we have to answer for another person, and if you get it right you win a point, if you get it wrong you drink.” Angelica explained while puffing out her chest like superman in a comically silly display. “So… if I draw this card, it says, how many drinks have they already had?” Ciel asked while reading the note out loud in a bit of an awkward manner. “Yes! You drew that one, so we go clockwise and you have to answer for the person sitting next to you on your left. In this case since none of us have drank you could say 0 and then win an easy point! But well that one doesn’t count since we used it to explain the game.” Angelica spoke with a wide smile on her face, she looked like she’d been waiting forever for someone to play this game with her. “But wouldn’t that mean that we only answer for one and the same person?” Frank questioned while tilting his head to the side and thinking. Angelica shook her head. “Nope! Because every 10 minutes we change seats counter clock wise. So right now we’re sitting, Me, Frank, Ciel and Dante… but in ten minutes we will change our seats to be all different, like Ciel, Me, Dante, Frank, and we continue to shift like that. For those ten minutes we could probably fit about three rounds without rushing but if you think we need more time I don’t mind readjusting the time.” She concluded. “That’s impressive! Did you think of it yourself?” Ciel said with some amazement, he looked up at her and she seemed charmed. “Yes, I thought it would be really fun! And besides it will strengthen our friendship. Since if you give a wrong answer of course the person that you got has to reply with the correct one. And in a case where you get it wrong and they don’t want to reply you both drink as a penalty!” Angelica said while sitting down on the ground in a circle with everyone else. “That’s tough… well I am confident enough in my skills to guess anything that comes to this guy…” Frank said as he turned to his best friend. He wouldn’t be so confident about anyone else though. “Sadly for the first ten minutes you will solely guess for Dante though…” Ciel told him in a low whisper and the man seemed to understand. “Ugh… clockwise… right…” Frank wasn’t all that knowledgeable about Dante but one could always guess at the answers. “It’s alright! Just try to guess as close as possible.” Angelica encouraged him all the more. “Alright, let’s get it going!” Frank said while lifting up his glass up high. Then he paused. “Wait is there any rewards for the one with the most points?” “Competitive, are we?” Angelica questioned him with a smirk. “A bit!” Frank nodded. “Well let’s say… the winner gets to have a kiss from anyone in this circle!” Angelica suggested, instantly Frank looked dissatisfied. “Ehh?? But what if I don’t want anyone of you to kiss me?” Frank said while looking around, after all Angelica was to be with Ciel, and Dante is Ciel’s ex. Frank didn’t have the least bit of want to kiss either of them. “Hooo? So you’re assuming you’ve already won?” Angelica asked him with a lighthearted chuckle escaping her lips. “I’m just saying that’s not a cool prize for me!” Frank closed his arms. “I demand something better.” Angelica thought about it for a moment and finally came up with a solution. “We can then change it to a wish! The one that wins can have one wish, one time use, it can’t be anything insane like stripping or anything that crosses boundaries… But you can get something from anyone here. Maybe you can ask them for 20$ or something?” She further gave him an idea. At that moment Frank’s eyes glimmered with hope and then dollar signs. “Okay now we’re talking! If money is involved!” “Is it really alright for a grown man to get so hyped up over 20$?”Date remarked in a bit of a dissatisfied grumble. “Hey man, 20$ is 20$... GAME IS ON!” Frank was fired up like never before. And that’s how it started… *** Author note: Sorry for not having updated recently! I got in a bit of a tight spot with money this month (as per usual I suppose) and I was stressing out about bills and stuff so much so I couldn't really write anything with this book because I want to keep it as lighthearted and funny as possible. I don't want my own negative emotions to influence this novel. So I might update this rarely since I don't know when I'll get out of this crisis.
