When we met
"Come on Ali, we'll be late on our first day!" Bianca took the girl's hand and dragged her across campus.
"Easy Bia, we will be fine" She tries to keep up with her friend, but it seems impossible to see how speed increases in the direction of her art class; A lock of blonde hair falls in front of her eyes, she tucks it behind her ear and follows in her best friend's footsteps.
The visual and performing arts installations were present in front of her eyes, Alessia observed the surroundings fascinated, it was her second year of university, but, even so, that place managed to impress her.
This year she managed to share some classes with Bianca, since the previous year she did not have that luck, now at least she would have her best friend to support her in her studies; even though he knew full well that Bianca focused more on parties than studying, so it surprised him that she was so determined to be early to class.
They both entered building B, since this was the visual arts building, the class they both shared; Alessia was still a bit nervous, since she was not very good at that class, but preferred the theater.
"This year will be incredible Ali" She smiles at her friend and runs a small hand through her messy red hair "We share many classes and soon we will have our own apartment"
They both laugh and enter their respective class, there are not too many people, just a freckled boy in front of the window and a girl painting on a large canvas, Bianca sat down and started flipping through one of her fashion magazines, while Alessia couldn't avoid approaching the girl, who painted on the canvas as if her life depended on it.
A small smile unconsciously formed on her lips when she observed her, she wore her dark hair gathered in a disarmed bun, her jeans and white shirt were stained with paint, she moved her hand with precision creating clean and precise strokes, she observed how her face showed total concentration when seeing her work almost finished, Alessia was going to get a little closer to admire her work, but the girl's eyes stopped her when crossing, they were so light blue that it made it seem unreal, the girl cleared her throat waking her from her trance.
"I'm ... I'm sorry" she hurried to say, embarrassed. "I didn't want to lose your focus!" she apologized, making the girl smile.
"Calm, it's okay, I just... painted" her voice was relaxing, she was surprised to see how simply he expressed himself before so much talent, as if he were talking about a simple drawing.
"It's really incredible" she got closer to the work, appreciating the intense colors and sharp gaze that the girl had managed to capture on the canvas "I could never do something like that... So... Artistic, I think because I appreciate that so much" she smiled at the girl, looked at her impressed at her words while a slight blush was present on her cheeks.
"It's no big deal, I just got inspired" she smiles looking at the canvas, now painted.
"I still think it's incredible," the blonde replied.
Professor Hill shows up before anyone can say anything, wearing his trademark paint-stained flannel shirt along with his must-have worn jeans; his days beard hasn't changed since his last class.
The teacher smiles before introducing himself, took different shades of acrylic and stood in front of his canvas, addressing the class.
"Art is a way of expressing what we feel, those emotions to which we do not find meaning and we need to capture them, either on a canvas or in a song; today they will express those repressed emotions that try to hide themselves" smile and throw a splash of blue acrylic on the canvas "You can only start from a stain, try to show yourself, capture those feelings, get angry, smile, get confused"
Alessia observed how her best friend drew some soft lines, which fell creating a beautiful coral dress, her gaze fell again unconsciously in the dark-haired girl, going back into a trance to see her paint, it was like watching her favorite movie.
The way in which she concentrated and boldly traced on the canvas left her stunned, as she observed her work and smiled when she felt satisfied, that only made the blonde want to continue looking at her; but the teacher's call for attention made her come to her senses, although she could notice that the girl noticed his gaze, making Alessia blush.
She looked at her canvas, still blank and instinctively managed to draw beautiful almond-shaped eyes of an unreal blue color, these were marked by thick and abundant eyelashes that any girl would envy, except one, more specifically a girl who was a few meters away. he would not envy them, because she possessed them.
"I see that you have inspired Alessia, I think it is your best work so far" says Professor Hill, surprising her "I think I know what you were inspired by" He smiles, leaving her speechless; He moves away from her to get closer to his inspiration "Tanya, I am not surprised to see your wonderful art, I am only surprised that you have also drawn a look, such a well-known look" He walks away from her to go to another student, leaving the blonde somewhat confused upon hearing what he had said to the girl, who now knew that her name was Tanya.
Their gazes met and they both instantly turned away, class continued quietly for everyone, except for a certain blonde and a blue-eyed woman. At the end of class, the girl with sky-colored eyes quickly left the class, Alessia approached her work curiously and was pleasantly surprised, when she verified the teacher's words were true, Tanya had also painted a look, it was hazel-colored surrounded with long blond eyelashes, observing her in more detail still continued to surprise her, not only the fact of how beautiful the painting was, but that it was hers, it was her eyes.
