"Bam!"
Veer pushed Jeet so hard that he got slammed against the machine.
A silence broke out in the canteen.
Students who were busy in their business all stopped, and everyone's attention was on them.
"What are you doing?" Jeet shouts angrily.
A serious and tense atmosphere was being created.
Sam and Abhay, who are Veer's buddies, came, and the situation became tenser.
Jeet knew that he can't win against them.
"What's going on? What happened here?" The warden asked.
"He was here for so long and his drinks got stuck I just help him." Veer said.
"No, sir he was..."
"I was just helping you. See!"
Jeet looked where Veer was pointing. He was pointing towards the machine and Jeet's drinks indeed fell down.
"Students! Go, get ready, you will be late otherwise. Mr. Arora, you too." Warden said.
Jeet grabbed his drinks and walked away angrily.
When he was going, he turned and saw a smirk on Veer's face. That made Jeet more furious.
Students started howling in a low voice. "What's wrong with him?" Echoed in the canteen.
That made the smirk disappear from Veer's face.
Jeet was walking away but his glance was fixed on Veer who was glaring at him.

"Students, we will not only read. We will explore nature. Botany is not only something confined to books. But it is something which is around us. So I want to give you an assignment that you have to do in groups." Teacher said.
While the teacher was teaching, Jeet and Ram were talking.
"I hate botany. It's so boring." Said Ram.
"Then why did you choose biology? You could have chosen statistics instead." Jeet said.
"For zoology."
"You like to know about animals?"
"Yes, the social animal."
They laughed.
"Who's that?" The teacher yelled. "Who is laughing? What's funny in this?"
Jeet and Ram pretended like they weren't the ones who did that.
A frontbencher stood and said.
"Sir, those were laughing."
"You two! Out of the class."
On the teacher's word, Veer chuckled.
"You too. Out."
As a result, Jeet, Veer, and Ram got the punishment, and they spent the rest of the lecture's time standing outside of the class.
"That nerd was speaking too much." Ram said.
"Put your hands up. If sir will see then he might extend the punishment." Jeet said.
"This all happened because of him. Trying to become class's hero."
Jeet laughed.
"He is a complain box."
"Correct Jeet, from now on we will call him the complain box."
"Really"
"Yes, he is the complain box."
"Like you are the milky bar." Veer said interrupted their conversations.
Jeet sigh and rolls his eyes.
After the lecture, the teacher went out, and those three went inside the class.
"Well done, brother." Riya said.
"Getting punishment is not a big deal. One chocolate can manage that right?" Ram said.
"Hmm. One ice cream, one silk chocolate, and your cool digital watch."
"That's not fair. It's too much."
"Oh really, should I tell aunt that you are interested in human biology?"
"Come on!"
"Fine, ice cream and any chocolate you like. I am giving you a rebate. You need it."
"What do you mean you need it?"
"Because the news I'll give you will shock you to death."
"What happened Riya?" Jeet asked.
Jeet and Ram are curious. What is it that Riya going to say?
"Thanks to that nerd, you two are now a partner in the botany assignment."
"That's it? That's nice." Jeet said.
"What nice, it's great," Ram said.
"Wait, let me finish," Riya said. "You two are parter of Veer in this assignment."
Both's jaw dropped.
"No!"
"Please say you were joking, sis."
"No, I am not."
They looked at Veer, and he was as always sitting with a serious expression on his face.
"This can't be that bad. We have to write an assignment only. We will write and give his name too. What you say?" Ram said.
"It's not that easy, bro. The assignment needs teamwork. It's about seed dispersal. And you three are a team for the whole year. "
"Sis, you'll make me cry."
"It's about the grades. I guess we have to talk to him." Jeet said.
"Why you want to get in a lion's cave?"
"Lion? Do you think he is a lion? I don't. He is nothing without his three hangers-on."
"You mean Sam, Abhay, and Ronnie?" Riya asked.
"Yes, those three."
"You think he'll help us?" Ram asked.
"Who knows? Have to find out." Jeet said.
"Mam is here!" One student announced.
Everyone took their seats.
"Hi students, I am your new English teacher."
"Hi, mam!" The class howls together.
"Take out your textbook, please."
"Wow! Our new mam looks stunning." Ram said.
"Yes, she looks pretty." Jeet replied.
"Her figure is amazing."
"Yes, because of her figure that saree looks great on her."
"She is so hot."
"Yes!" Riya said from behind.
Jeet and Ram looked back and saw Riya admiring the teacher.
"What are you looking at her like that? You are a girl." Ram said.
"Admiring beauty is not a gender-biased thing." Riya said
"Hm, I agree." Jeet supported her.
"Her lipstick is amazing." Riya said.
"Her lips too."
"Yaik...." Jeet and Riya reacted to Ram's word.
"Sorry."
They laughed together.
"Is it that funny?" Mam asked.
'Oh no, we get caught again' Thought Jeet.
"Will you stand up?"
Jeet stood.
"Now read the paragraph loudly."
Jeet became nervous. He was a small village boy. He lacks confidence.
He tried his best but stammered and couldn't read the paragraph in front of the whole class.
"You better go back to the farm, milky boy. You are better to go and do milking." Veer shouted.
The whole class laughed at Jeet. He felt humiliated.
"Quiet! You, it is not good manners to insult your friends like that." The Mam said pointing out to Veer.
"He is not my friend, and can never be." Veer said.
"Ooohhhhh" The class howled.
"Quiet..."
Jeet buried his face in the book he was holing.
