Walking through the lonely path going down the road with no direction to point out except just anywhere the road creates a path. He looks so confused and frustrated, not taking notice of those making effort to greet him or to cheer him up, everything looks the same and everyone looks the same to him. His perception is beclouded by his experience and what he is currently going through worsen the situation and built a fortified wall through which he views everything. As he walked down through the lonely road, he seems to have a direction to a meadow by the road side almost into the forest. He loves nature and the natural fumes in the atmosphere that seems to have captivated him and drew him to admire the meadow. The floor is covered with leveled carpet grasses and varieties of flowers to pattern the beauty of the garden. He admires the butterflies pollinating the flowers; suddenly his countenance gained a little brightness as he chuckles at the rising sun remembering the good old days.As he glares at the flowers continual a masculine voice from afar screamed his name “Josie, Josie” briskly walking toward him to catch up with him, Josie turned and looked it was his dad Mr. Everest, the brightness on his face turned gloom as if the voice of his dad turned soured the sweetness of his heart created by the esthetic beauty of the garden. As his dad advanced towards him, he turned around and walked towards the garden’s bench under an oak tree and he sat down waiting as his dad finally reached him and sat with him.“I understand how you feel Josie” said Mr. Everest as he sat close to him and crosses his arm on his shoulder. “Please don’t take it the wrong way, but you have to calm down and control your thoughts so you will be able to get things right.”“No dad” Josie interrupted. “Why are all these things happening to me? Why is my life this way? People don’t care at all, they just want what they could get at the moment from me, but all I get In return is disappointment.” Tears run down his eyes as he tried to explain to his dad but his heart was deeply overwhelmed by his emotion and he quickly cut the explanation, aggressively stood up and walked a pace away from his dad. “Dad, you won’t understand, I have tried my best and am still doing my best to make things work but nothing seems to be working out. What am I going to do now? Things are getting tough every day.”Mr. Everest ponderously stood up and walked towards him with all confident like he was holding hope in a platter to give to Josie. “Listen son, like I said, I understand how you feel, but can we just go home first? Everything will be fine, we need to keep our hope alive and never give up even if things seems not to be fine, if only we can stick together and work things out as we believe too, everything will be alright.” He crosses his arm on his shoulder again and said. “Son, come let go home, we will find a way, help must come, maybe not now but soon.”Josie’s mind was calm a little not because he bought into the hope Mr. Everest was trying to give him but because he need to obey his dad and accept his invitation to go home. Josie folds his two arms across his chest as he sluggishly walked with his dad back down the lonely road to the house.

THORNS HAVE ROSES đŸŒč💐 PART 2
Josie was a rich guy who had his own money and never depends on his parents for a penny. He was known as a billionaire who had many investments and businesses going for him, he bought his first car when he was 20 years and later bought cars for all his loved ones. His hotel was the talk of the town, he had vessels he invested in to import and export of goods and other investment going on, he was so opened and friendly to everybody and he never liked to see people around him suffer hardship. He was there for everyone and cared for them, he contributed to his community developments and empowered lots of people and changed their standard of living personally. Some described him as a guy with the heart of gold. He sent money to people who beaconed on him for help as if it was nothing to him, but when the season of hardship came knocking at his door, the economy and unfavorable Government policies shredded all his business and investment to zero level, all his wealth faded into the wind gradually and ‘all that once was were lost.’ All his friends and loved ones turned their back on him, even those he helped scorned at him, and those called friends and family betrayed him, at that moment to him ‘darkness crept back into the forest of the world’ leaving him in a labyrinth illusion of limbo that erased the slightest shadow of friendship and from his heart and things never remained the same with him again. The door opened from outside accompanied by the ray of the sun widened into the house, Josie first entered followed by his dad Mr. Everest as he stood by the door looking at his son who sunk into the couch in the parlor like one who is tired of life, with his face up and eyes not blinking stirring continuously at the ceiling looking pitiful. Mr. Everest walked closer and sat next to him speechless looking at Josie as if he was using his eyes to do all the talking and suddenly found a word to start the conversation. “Josie, Josie.” Expecting a response. “Am hearing you.” replied Josie. Mr. Everest was not pleased with that response but coming from someone who is emotional and angry he had to swallow the next words coming out of him that could have been accompanied with anger. “Calm down son let’s think things through.” “Dad, I’m done calming down” replied Josie with angry tune. “I am done with that dad.” With all the expression of anger on his face. “Look at the bright side of things son, I know things are hard but it is for good, the rain falls so that the sun will rise and shine brighter, just like what they said, ‘after the rain comes the sun.’ This maybe our rainy season but we don’t have to be worried about it knowing that the sun will soon rise to put that smile on our faces if only we hold on and do our part.” Pondering on what Mr. Everest said, Josie took a deep breath and shook his head in agreement but his expression shows that he is still not comfortable with the current situation of the family and the difficulties going on. Still pondering on the words of his dad, there was a knock on the door; it was Josie’s friend Felicia. The moment Felicia entered the house Josie and his dad Mr. Everest switched mood from sad and anger to happy mood to suggest to Felicia that all is well with them. “Hi Josie.” Felicia said. “Hi Felicia.” Josie replied. “Good morning Mr. Everest.” She saluted. “Thank you, it is a really a beautiful morning Felicia, how are you doing?” She answered with a weird look. “Am doing good, thank you
” suspecting something was wrong before she came in, she added “I came to get Josie so him and I will start heading to the game. “Okay, you guys should go have fun” He approved. Josie reluctantly stood up, “bye dad.” “Bye son.” Replied Mr. Everest as Josie and Felicia walked out of the house. Mr. Everest collapsed in to the porch chair and tears dripped down his eyes and he wept convulsibly.
