Is this too Good to be True

Reality check

     We reached our college parking and as I had no vehicle obviously due to lack of funds. Ariana walked with me to college as she didn't drive her car - that was a bit strange now that I think about it! We were 7 people - Jayden, Adam,  Kevin, two other guy who I met for the first time and no one introduced us so. I was still day dreaming about Jayden's lips so I didn't follow the conversation but then I saw Ryder and Adriene pull up and understood they will also be joining us I think it was Kevin who called.

    Kevin and Ryder were such good friends sometimes I thought Kevin was gay for Ryder. Haha that would be a fun story. I know both of them are straight as a stripper's pole. 

So I was about to get in to Ryder's car that Jayden pulled my back pack and I was almost going to collide with his strong chest, "ride with me" he said. 

Our interaction was unnoticed by everyone as they were busy greeting each other and joking about the last few days about college.

  There is something I would like to get straight - I knew Ryder first then I met the whole gang. He was my one true friend he has protected me against bullies though he never quits making fun of me but when he sees I am hurt he apologizes and he's my first ever crush in college. He was there when I almost fainted after a dance practice last year but Jayden was the one to drive me to my dorm. 

   Now both Ryder and Jayden were hot as hell, equally popular, extremely good looking. So naturally the testosterones were all time high when they were around each other why - apparently or allegedly - All of Ryder's girlfriends/friends with benefits what ever the "hipster term" is for casual s*x - Have been also Jayden's f**k buddies/friends and vise versa. So there was always a sort of tension between them. Jayden never hung out at Ryder's place because the hot gossip was his last girlfriend and "the break up is fresh" was found having s*x with Ryder by one of their mutual friends and had called Jayden about it. Their story is complicated as hell and I don't want to be caught in the middle of the cross fire - So my motto from day one was to never date until I finish college. Who knows where their d***s have entered and pulled out of can end up being one of my classmates/partner. I already have a lot of financial troubles to be involved with this drama guess how I know about their history - My news report is none other than Ariana. 

   I must have looked stupid standing there thinking because I heard Ryder saying "P forgot to shower today because you look stoned as s**t". They all called me P my name was already short and now it was reduced to just a letter.

Everyone was laughing their asses off and I didn't have a come back he knew me too well!!

In the end, Ariana, Kevin, Ryder and Adriene were riding together and the others were with us.

I went to sit at the back between the 2 guys I was yet to find out their names when I felt a warm almost moist hand pull me towards the front seat. This was a first - Riding with Jayden in the front seat!

The boys wanted to put on rock music and blast the radio off of Jayden's Škoda - he liked this car for some reason and I loved how comfortable and low key it was as oppose to Ryder's BMW and Ariana's Porsche. 

Jayden was humming to a tune and I knew it was his original - he's an amazing vocalist and guitarist but he always forgets the right lyrics to any song which I find to be quite funny. He is usually very broody, moody, cold but today he seems to be carefree and easy going I like this mood of his. I wanted to switch the music to more melodious one or country but I didn't want them to stop the good time they were having.

I was looking out the window and trying to tune out the impromptu jamming session in the car and enjoying the last carefree days until responsibility of paying rent, bills and looking for a job - I was interning at a law firm and I was super exited about it. 

My train of thought abruptly stopped when I heard one of my all time favorite song started playing "Hero" by Enrique Iglesias- 

Would you tremble if I touched your lips?

   I looked sideways and he was staring at me with an expression I couldn't understand he looked at me as if I was the most beautiful girl, he's ever seen even though I look like a homeless person. We arrived at Secret Waterfall Patios in Midtown this place is where we all hangout most of the times to relax and chill out. I was more casually dressed than all of them that were in their Gucci, Adidas I don't even know enough brand names to describe their attire as I was the last person to be brand conscience I would use that money to feed homeless people in New York.  Everyone placed their order I stuck to coffee as my stomach couldn't keep anything down this early in the morning. It was around 9 am.   "So what plans after graduation" was the hot topic of discussion - all of them I knew were going to contribute In some way or another to their family business and become successful entrepreneur.    Kevin was boosting about how his parents have established their footing in the food industry. They were well known in the city.    Rydar was discussing his plans to be a Cooperate secretary to his father and Adriene was sharing her modelling and acting plans.    Ariana was making faces throughout the conversation because she is going to continue sitting at home and spending her dad's hard earned money on god knows what.   Jayden was so quite no one asked him but I was curious I didn't have the balls to call him out for being quite he was busy tuning his guitar that is basically his favorite pass time and he doesn't overshare. He likes to maintain the mystery that surrounds him. I was sitting across him and through the fog of my coffee I was observing his arms how the blue veins pop out and make his arms look strong lean and absolutely kissable.  His phone must have vibrated as he reached out to check it must be a text, after few seconds he got up and said "Catch up with you guys after a while".

  In a moment I got up and said "can you drop me to my dorm please". Without saying yes or no he walked off and I followed him.
