It had been two weeks since I told Konrad about my dreams, and he didn’t take them seriously. He said it could be his uncle showing himself as Jaeger. But I could see it in his eyes. He had a longing desire for the dream to come true, but doubt prevented his hope.
He even took me to the memorial site at the beach to pay respect to his brother he believed had passed on. I couldn’t get the feeling we were being watched down there and still believed some kind of miracle was possible since they did not find his body.
