Chapter 9: The fallout 💔

Alex felt like she was in a nightmare. Her secret was out, and she didn't know how to process it.

Ethan led her away from the group, his arm around her shoulders. "I'm so sorry, Alex. I had no idea they knew."

Alex shook her head, feeling tears prick at the corners of her eyes. "It's not your fault, Ethan. I just feel so exposed now."

Taylor joined them, her face furious. "I'm going to kill them for doing this to you, Alex."

But Alex just shook her head. "No, Taylor. It's okay. I just need to get out of here."

Ethan nodded and led her to his car. As they drove away from the party, Alex felt like she was leaving her old life behind.

But what would her new life look like?

Chapter 10: The Aftermath

Alex didn't know how to face her friends and classmates after the party. She felt like everyone was staring at her, whispering about her secret.

Ethan tried to be supportive, but even his presence couldn't ease her discomfort. She started to withdraw from her friends and activities, feeling like she was living in a fishbowl.

Taylor tried to reach out to her, but Alex pushed her away. "I just need some time, Taylor. Please."

As the days went by, Alex felt like she was losing herself. She didn't know who she was anymore or what she wanted.

But then, she received a mysterious message. "Meet me at the old oak tree in the park at midnight. Come alone."

Alex was hesitant, but something about the message resonated with her. She decided to go, hoping to find some answers.
