Chapter 7: The Secret 🤐

As the night wore on, Alex found herself having more and more fun. She danced with Taylor and the others, and even caught Ethan's eye a few times.

But every time she looked at Julian, Liam, and Caleb, she felt a shiver run down her spine. They seemed to be watching her every move, and she couldn't shake the feeling that they were planning something.

Finally, she decided to confront them. She made her way over to where they were standing, trying to look confident.

"Hey, guys. What's going on? You've been staring at me all night."

Julian smiled, his eyes glinting in the light. "Just admiring the view, Alex. You look beautiful tonight."

But Alex wasn't fooled. She knew there was something more going on.

Suddenly, Liam spoke up. "We know your secret, Alex. We know what you're hiding."

Alex's heart skipped a beat. What did they know? And how did they find out?

Chapter 8: The Revelation😮

Alex's mind was racing. What could they possibly know about her? She tried to play it cool, but her voice was shaking.

"What are you talking about?"

Caleb stepped forward, a sly grin spreading across his face. "We know about your family, Alex. We know what happened to your parents."

Alex felt like she had been punched in the gut. How did they know? She had kept that secret hidden for so long.

Taylor appeared at her side, her eyes flashing with anger. "Leave her alone, guys. That's none of your business."

But Julian just laughed. "Oh, it's very much our business. You see, Alex, we've been researching you. And we know all about your little secret."

Alex felt her world crashing down around her. She didn't know what to do or say.

Suddenly, Ethan appeared, his face dark with anger. "That's enough, guys. Leave her alone."

But it was too late. The damage was done. Alex's secret was out.
