Chapter 5: The Surprise

Ethan took Alex to the backyard, where a big surprise was waiting for her. There was a pool lit up with colored lights, and a large projection screen behind it. Suddenly, the screen turned on and an image of Alex appeared on the screen.

Alex was surprised and laughed. "How did you do this?" she asked Ethan.

Ethan smiled. "I have my resources. But wait, there's more."

Suddenly, the music started playing and the screen turned into a big light and color show. Alex felt like she was at a concert.

Taylor and the other girls joined them, and they all danced and enjoyed the show. Alex felt like she was in a dream.

But then, she saw Julian, Liam, and Caleb watching her from the shadows. They seemed to be planning something, and Alex felt a little uncomfortable.

Chapter 6: The Plot

As the night wore on, Alex couldn't shake off the feeling that something was off. She kept catching Julian, Liam, and Caleb whispering and glancing at her.

Taylor noticed her concern and leaned in close. "What's wrong, Alex? You look like you've seen a ghost."

Alex hesitated, unsure if she should share her suspicions. But Taylor's kind eyes encouraged her to open up.

"I don't know, it's just that Ethan's friends seem really interested in me. And not in a good way."

Taylor's expression turned serious. "I know what you mean. I've seen them talking about you too. But don't worry, I've got your back."

Just then, Ethan appeared at their side, a charming smile on his face. "Hey, ladies! What's going on?"

Taylor smiled sweetly. "Just enjoying the party, Ethan. Thanks for inviting us."

But Alex noticed that Ethan's eyes flickered to his friends, and for a moment, she saw a glimmer of something sinister.
