Chapter 2:
As the lunch bell rang, Alex and her friends made their way to their usual table in the cafeteria. Taylor was already there, sipping on a latte and chatting with Madison.
"Hey, guys! So, have you heard about the party this weekend?" Taylor asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Madison sighed. "I wish I could go, but my mom is being super strict. No parties until I finish my exams."
Ava and Sophia exchanged sympathetic glances. "Don't worry, Madison. We'll fill you in on all the juicy details," Ava promised.
Meanwhile, Ethan and his friends claimed their usual table, discussing their plans for the weekend. Lucas was regaling them with stories of his upcoming trip to the Hamptons.
"Dude, it's going to be epic! You have to come, Ethan," Lucas urged.
Julian shook his head. "I don't know, guys. I have a ton of work to do on my programming project."
Liam clapped him on the back. "Don't worry, Julian. We'll make sure you don't miss out on any fun."
Caleb raised an eyebrow. "So, Ethan, what's the plan for this weekend?"
Ethan flashed a mysterious smile. "Let's just say I have something up my sleeve. You'll have to wait and see."
As the two groups of friends continued their conversations, they had no idea that their lives were about to become intertwined in unexpected ways.
