The next two weeks go by pretty quickly. If I am not at Quirky Books I’m either with Abbi or Talon. I spend my evenings with Aunt Jenna. I told her a little about Talon. She seems happy that I have found someone who interests me. Tonight she and Abbi are watching the twins while Talon takes me out. He said he wanted to take me out on a proper date. Abbi insisted on a black sundress with my silver flats.

After I shower and straighten my hair I put my panties and bra on. It’s a cute matching set that’s black and lacey. The top has attachable straps that I don’t use since my dress is strapless. The panties are black and cheeky. They make me feel sexy. After having the twins my body hasn’t been the same. But I like that this set makes me feel good. I put my dress on and look at myself in the mirror. The dress stops just above the knee. I feel like I look pretty in it. I just want to look pretty for Talon. I slip my shoes on and head down stairs. Abbi is in the kitchen with Aunt Jenna eating fresh baked brownies.

“Girl you look absolutely edible! My big brother isn’t going to know what hit him!” Abbi squeals excitedly.

I blush as I pick up Ellie from Jenna. I snuggle her close to me and breathe in her fresh baby scent. It calms me and slows my racing heart. I’m so nervous. I hand Ellie back to her before grabbing Eli up from Abbi. I do the same with him except unlike his sister he wakes up and tries getting into my dress.

“Now mister you just ate.” Abbi lightly scolds while taking Eli back from me. She lovingly admires my son for a moment.

“I can’t thank you guys enough for watching them. If there’s any trouble just call and I’ll be right back home.” I promise.

There’s a knock at the door just a moment later and when I answer my breath catches. Talon is dressed in khaki shorts and a button up black shirt. His black hair is mused back. It looks like he ran his hands threw it multiple times. He looks incredibly sexy. I notice he looks me head to toe before his eyes find mine.

“You look incredible!” He says as he steps forward.

“Thanks so do you.” I say as I blush. I feel like a school girl around him.

I lead him into the house so he can meet Aunt Jenna. She stands as we enter the kitchen.

“Hello. I’m Jenna Marie’s aunt.” My aunt says sticking her hand out for him.

“Talon. It’s a pleasure to meet you Jenna.” He nods at Abbi who smiles fondly at him.

“I trust you to be on your best behavior tonight. Marie has her hands full with two babies. Let’s not add another to the mix.” My aunt says jokingly making me and Talon blush.

“There will be no funny business I promise.” Talon chuckles out lowly. I can tell he is uncomfortable. I quickly kiss my babies one last time and follow him out the door.

He takes me to a nice intimate Italian restaurant. The tables are small and the lights are dimmed and it’s all very private. I had a ravioli dinner with a side salad and he had a plate of pasta with meatballs. We ate and he took me to the small dance floor. We danced to a song about a man who can’t live without the love of a woman. I believe it’s called Will You Still Love Me. Its soft and sweet and I can tell it’s exactly as Talon feels. He cups my cheek and lightly brushes his lips over mine. I sigh softly and he nibbles on my bottom lip. This man can kiss my socks off. Or my panties. Whichever wants to come off first. He has a hand around my waist and pulls me closer to his body. He moves his mouth from mine and leans down to whisper in my ear.

“You make me crazy Marie.” He says huskily.

I grin at him before I kiss him gently. He groans in my mouth and grips my hip firmly. I love how his hands make me feel. After we dance to another slow song that makes me tingle thinking about Talon we leave the restaurant. When we get outside Talon walks me to the passenger side of his car and presses me against it. “Get in the car you vixen. Our first time will not be against my car outside. No one will ever hear the sounds of pleasure I bring you. Those are for my ears alone.” He says possessively. I blush before climbing into his car. My heart is beating impossibly fast. I can’t believe how he makes me feel with one kiss. Granted that was a hot kiss but now I wonder what else his mouth can do.

He climbs into the driver seat and buckles up. After he starts the car he grabs my hand and kisses my fingers that are wrapped around his. As crazy as it sounds given we have only known each other a short amount of time, he makes me feel complete.

“So I was thinking maybe tomorrow you and the twins can spend the night with me?”

“I don’t know Talon. I’ll think about it. I’ll pack an over night bag to bring just in case. We will see where the night goes.” I reply back. Tomorrow night Talons mother is throwing a barbecue. She said she wants to get the whole pack together as often as she can and usually throws one every month or two. I’m nervous about meeting everyone but she insisted I come with the twins.

We pull up to my aunts house and he cuts the car off. He tells me to wait before stepping out of the car and coming around. After he opens my door he holds his hand out for me to grab as I climb out. I love the feeling of his big hand wrapped around mine. I step out of the car and he shuts the door and pulls me into him. He buries his face in my back and inhales deeply making my entire body tingle. He steps back before walking me to the front door.

“I had such a great evening tonight.” I say happily.

“Me too. I wish it didn’t have to end.” He says solemnly. I wish it didn’t have to end either. I kiss him gently on the cheek and he grins.

“I only get a kiss on the cheek?” He says playfully.

“I just hated seeing you frown.” I respond while smiling up at him. His eyes smolder at me and all playfulness is wiped off his handsome face. Instead he is stalking toward me and I back up my steps to match his. Next thing I know is I’m against the outside wall and his lips are devouring mine with his soft full lips. I swear his mouth was made for kissing. He plunges his tongue in my mouth as his hands cage me in. I love how small I feel with him surrounding me.

“What does this mean for us though? You never really explained this to me.” I ask while running my fingers through my hair.

“We mate for life Marie. There will be no one else for me. Your it. You marking me also means your wolf has accepted us.”

I think it over for a moment. The idea of being with anyone else isn’t the slightest bit appealing. The idea of Talon with another makes my blood boil. I’d rip her eyes out and tear him a new ass hole first.

Talon kisses me on the forehead and holds me close. I feel cherished when he holds me like this. I think of a future and all I see is Talon and our family. It feels right like his arms were made to hold me.

“Let’s go on in.” Talon says quietly. I’m excited to see my babies. I hate being gone from them for long. It makes me feel anxious. I love being a mom. It’s been quite the adventure.
