"Have you contacted the agents you sent to Merrose?" The army school founder asked the commander. "Sir, I'm so sorry, I should have called them as soon as they teleported to Merrose but I forgot." the commander answered. "I've searched through all the maps of this world but I don't see any city called Merrose. But you said you came from Merrose." the old man asked. "Sir.. I'm, I'm so sorry." The commander paused for a while. "I was told by my parents that I was born in Merrose. But I can't recall where it is located." "So it was all a lie then!" the old man. shouted. "Why didn't you make proper investigation when you heard that it was Merrose, the city you've never been to?!" A lady knocked on the door and entered the old man's office. "Sir, I found out something about Merrose. It is another world!" "What!" The old man exclaimed. ******** "So what is your village like?" Vic asked Spiro, he was cleaning off the black blood of the beast that had stained his silver sword in a stream. "You mean you haven't been to our village before?" Spiro was surprised. "Kind of" Vic replied and tell Spiro how they had ended up in the forest. "Then that means you are not from this world?!" Spiro shouted as a sad expression was on his face. "Is there any problem?" Vic asked, but Spiro was silent. "Vichette, when we get to our village. Tell them that you are from the South side. If they know you're not from this world, they might kill you." Spiro advised him. ' Not from this world, Kill us? ' Vic thought. "Hey, I forgot. I killed a bear beast, I haven't extracted the gem and crystal." Spiro said as he ran off to where the beast was. He used his sword to open the chest of the beast that was stroken by his spear a while ago. "Although the gem is more useful than the crystal, I still need the crystal." "Are they different from each other." Vic asked, he wants to confirm what Ang had told him. "Once you've known where the chest of the beast is, it will be easy to get the gem. But the crystals are difficult to locate quickly. Only an expert like me that knows how to deal with beast would be able to locate the crystal." Spiro boasted and he sliced open the head of the beast, revealing a brownish coloured crystal. "Here!!" "That's great!" Vic gave him a thumbs up. "And for your question, there are some differences, the gems can last longer than the crystals in so many ways. Also, a gem can be used for a thing that will need up to five or six crystals "Let's move to the most troublesome." Spiro said as he jumped over one of the tentacles that was blocking his way. "This beast sure is very big!" Vic was amazed by it's huge stature. "This beast is a King tier beast, while the bear beast is an intermediate tier beast. Do you notice the small tent-eye beasts that were coming from this big tent-eye beast?" Spiro asked. "They are basic tier beast." "I've got a lot to learn from you. Cause, I've never fought with beast before." Vic said. "But you killed a king tier beast." "That was just success by luck. The beast didn't see me sneaking under it. If it had, I won't have been here." Vic explained. "Nah, but you got courage." Spiro said as he finally located the Crystal. "Now, the gem won't be a difficult thing to find. The chest is always under its leg." "How do you know?" Vic asked. "We always fight with this type of beast. Especially the basic tier ones. This is my first time killing a king tier beast. My siblings would be shocked if they were to know that I have a king tier gem and crystal." Spiro said excitedly. "Where is this gemstone?!" "Do you mean this?" Vic said showing the gem to Spiro. "Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot that you were the one that killed it, no.. actually I want to give you the gem and the Crystal just after I show my siblings how much I had improved in fighting." Spiro said. "Here, you can take the Crystal." "No, I used your sword to kill it. so we should share the rewards. I'll take the gem and you can take the Crystal." Vic answered. "Thank you so much." Spiro said. "Let's go find your friends!" ******* "Gosh, are we going to stay here forever?" Liza said as she was still holding onto the branch of the tree. "Shhhh! the beast are sleeping. We need to find a way to get out of here. It's dark already. Butch! how far is the mountain to this place." Melody asked. The beast weren't able to elongate their tongues anymore, and after so much struggle, they all slept at the foot of the tree. Not allowing their prey to escape. "I could only assume, we would have to walk about two days to get anywhere near the mountain." Butch said. 'Heck, what do I do. I can't perform any magic in this place. I don't know what this place is that it's hindering my Magic. It is similar to when my magic were being hindered by Vic... Just where the hell is Vic?' Melody wondered. "Guys, I got an idea. Why don't we jump over trees like monkeys." Butch. "Yeah, nice idea. Get moving i***t!" Liza shouted with anger. "Hey!! Hey!!" "Butch, is that you?" Liza asked. "I don't know, but my stomach doesn't talk." "Hey!! Hey!!" "Kiti kititi, kiti kititi, kiti kititi." "Hey!! Hey!!" "Kiti kititi, kiti kititi, kiti kititi." "Guys look below, can you see those red lights?" Butch said. "Are they hunters or what?" Liza asked. "Who knows??" Melody said hoping that this people could help them get rid of the beast trapping them on the tree. "What are these guys doing, are they from the lineage of the Avatars, or some kind of mage?!"
