Sparkles

Its been 4 days since my talk with Sarah. I had been running all over New Orleans to find everything for the peace party like Sarah called it and I had everything nearly done was just missing out on flower and my dress and mask. Sarah said it has to be a royal party. So that means I have to wear elegant clothes and masks are to protect the identity of the guests I guess. Today on my list is to pick the dress. I have been in 10 shops and I can't find one that suits me.     I think this is the 11 shop and I made myself a promise that I will leave with a dress from this shop. Shop it self was small. Cover in different types of dresses form mini to full length dresses. It had this old vibe about it that I like. I was welcomed by thin red head with green eyes. Her smiled looked forced. " Welcome to old town, what can I help you with" it was painfully to watch as her lips were stretch uncomfortably.   "Long day?" I asked giving her giving her pitiful look. After seeing that I'm not a b***h she let out long sigh of relieve, which made me smile. "Yeah, we had lots of females talking about some important event that they need dresses for."   "Yeah same here." I smiler again. "Would you like to help me? This is the last shop I'm willing go through to find a dress in"   "How many shops have you been at then" I could she the curiosity in her green eyes. "To many" I burst into a laugh. Her brow went up like she was accepting the challenged. "Let's go then?" She grabbed me under my arm and pulled me into the shop. *2 hour later*   This is the last dress that's she gived me. It was beautiful,it has spaghetti straps with knee length shirt. The dress was ocean green colour with black lace on top. It made me look like a princess. They also had laced masks which came in handy as I didn't had to run around to find one. I chosen black one that only covered my eyes. 'You look stunning' Draka stated as I looked in the mirror. I have heard her in a while.' Thank you' I smiled to myself. I changed quickly and gone to pay it was already 5pm and I still need to make few phone calls.   I made my way home, without stopping for I minute. I need to finish all the work and just have a long bath.    It took me 15 minutes to get home. I made quick calls to few of my friends that I made during parties (which are wild, I may tell you). I made sure I had the bar reserved and all decorators ready first thing in the morning in two days as the ball was supposed to happen on Saturday. Last call was to the buffet management to make sure that the food is never ending.  Then I took my sweet time in the bath. In 2 days the war threats should end. I thought hopefully to myself.  *2 days later*     I got calls since 6 am, about the flowers and how everything should look. If DJ was coming what time everything starts. I haven't got off the phone yet and it was already 6pm. Everything was stating in an hour and I haven't even managed to dress up. Thank god that Sarah called my only friend Hannah.    Hannah was a charming Latin-American girl her eyes were big and sparkly and her hair was bigger then her body all together. She was about 5'4 height which made her smaller them me ( I'm 5'6). She was running around me getting my hair and make up ready. Plus at the same time hers. She WS dressed in mini black dress making her curves pop out. I missed her so much.   "Come one princess we gotta go." Her sharp tone was ringing in my ear as we was leaving my house. "I know, but is not like I'm going to enjoy this party anyway" I murmured under my breath.   Her hand quickly grabbed my face " YOU ARE GOING TO ENJOY IT!" She screamed in my face as we was nearly there.  We stepped out of the car to see charming castle entrance.   Sarah really out did herself. I mean she reserved one of the finest ballrooms in this city.I walked into the ballroom and caught my breath. I’d never been in a space that made me feel so small–or so plain. Crystal chandeliers spiraled down from the arching sky-blue ceiling, illuminating the glimmering golden walls and a floor so polished it looked like an iced-over lake. And it wasn’t just the ballroom–the women sparkled like a box of jewels, shades of emerald and ruby and amethyst swirling before me, their low chatter accompanying wafts of rose and hyacinth and jasmine. I looked down at my dress and felt so out of place. I was overwhelmed by the beauty of it.  I slowly started to take steps back to find myself walking into a chest of very tall man. I flinched and spin around to see a very handsome man. His eyes dark hazelnut colour which looked nearly back in this lighting. His hair was exactly the same. He was at least 6'7 and had bit of muscles on him. His hands were around my waist and as his skin came in contact with mine I felt electricity rushed through my body making me shiver.     "I'm sorry" I whimpered and grabbed Hannah dragging her down the stairs into our sits. I could still feel where those mans hands were and that only gived me a bad feeling. I'm planning to stay as far away as possible from him.
