' Things will get better, ' Leah said. I turned and looked at my friend who sat beside me. I had no energy left in Me to argue, but what I knew was nothing was going to get better and her of all people knew that well. The best thing she could do was to sit back there in silence and let me sink in this mess.... I had created this mess myself.

I have been looking for an outfit to wear to tonight' s party for the past thirty minutes but I haven't made up my mind on what to wear. My dresser is full of dresses but I can't get to find what I want tonight.
Anytime from now my friends are coming to pick me up and am not even halfway done with my make up. This has always been my problem, coming up with what to wear has always made me late in several occasions.
Lemme introduce myself first, am Ava a twenty one year old girl, that means am in college. I have three friends, Piper, Leah and Achilles. And today is a Friday night in which I wanted to sleep in but my crazy friends could not allow me to. I don't mean my friends are crazy, it's just I don't know what else to call them. And I also have an elder sister whom am not proud to talk about, don't get me wrong, I don't hate my sister, it's just that, have never had a good sister relationship with her, not because I don't want to but rather is because she doesn't think I fit in her circle.
Although Amelia and I grew up together, we have nothing in common. Amelia is into fashion that explains her career as a fashion designer. Apart from that, we never got along well, majorly because of our parents who favoured her more and gave her the princess treatment, while I was raised under strict rules and partly because Amelia generally doesn't like me. The reason for that, only she knows.
Until now, I was living in my parents house, I just had to pursued them a million time to be allowed to rent a studio near my college since commuting daily is so tiresome. Also I needed freedom and wanted to live like a normal college student. I don't mean the freedom to party and do those wild things you are thinking but the freedom to live in my own apartment, do things as i want and many more.
My friends arrive as I finish doing last minute touch on my makeup, We all hop in Leah' s car and drive to the party.
As expected, the turn up of the party was to the fullest, who dares miss Alaine ' s party. Alaine was among the popular girls in college, popular and rich type. Most popular girls are always mean, especially those with rich parents but Alaine was different, she was the sweetest person you will ever meet, and the most kindest I guess.
The party was blast, full of guys, Alcohol and everything else found in the party. Honestly am not the party time, so I was just trying to fit in, trying to socialize with people, dancing here and there. At the end, I ended up going to the swimming pool because it was less chaotic than the inside of the house. I sat by the pool and dipped my feet in water.
Rather than going to parties, I prefer staying indoors watching movies, reading novels and playing video games. At this point you might think my life is so boring, trust you are so wrong, the is more fun in reading novels, not only do you learn a lot but also it expands your thinking and imagination. Movies on the other hand are on different level, they make you wanna know what happened next. For those who who prefer sporty activities might thing staying indoors means missing a lot, but that ain't the cause. Give it a try and trust me you won't regret.
I stayed by the pool until late that's when I decided to look for my friends, I looked everywhere but couldn't find any of them. I went to the parking lot and to my surprise, Leah' s car was missing, and that meant one thing, they had decided to live without me. Thanks to my friend for ruining my Friday and now am stuck here which is not an option since I can't stay here, and walking to my apartment ain't a good choice either but the way it seems, it's the only option I have.
Left with no other choice, I started walking, thanks to Piper's advice, i had left my phone in Leah' s car to avoid misplacing it, it was not that I was going to drink and misplace but you know Piper, she has a way of convincing people to follow her advice.
By the time I arrived at my apartment, I was dead tired that I went direct to my bed, I didn't bother to change into my pajamas since I can't say I had any energy in me to do so.
Morning came quicker than normal, it was already Saturday and I had my part time weekend job to attend to. I work as a cart girl at Shellview .Honestly it ain't the best job since at time you have to deal with drunk customers and complaining won't help much since the rule ' The customer is always right ' Still works there, but it's a well paying job, plus the tips are very high and also not many places would want to hire a apart timer, most prefer a full-time worker.
Working at Shellview has made me meet a lot of celebrities that I had only seen in Television, I think that's an advantage, I can proudly say, I have met Arash, Justin Bieber and many others.
