It was very hard to believe that the woman in question and her husband were my parents. They looked like they were few years older than me. They did not look like they could birth a grown up like me. I stared at them in awe. They were just too beautiful.
They stared at me as well, neither party knowing what to say or do.
“Our daughter” The man finally answered, looking me straight in the eyes. I smiled as I stared back at him, still not knowing what to say. Suddenly, they both began to walk towards me, one step at a time.
I decided to join them as well. I could not tell why it was that slow. It was like a movie as we walked very slowly. Eventually, each party got to meet the oher and we stopped to stare at each other, not knowng what to say.
