"Have you been waiting for long?" Eric's voice disrupted my thoughts and I was forced to look at him. He was almost out of breath which only meant that he had run all the way here.
"No I haven't." I replied conversationally "I didn't ask you to run all the way here."
"You said as soon as possible? What other means did you expect me to use?" He asked looking completely disoriented.
"Thank you for coming." I whispered sincerely. Eric was one of the many people that I could count on when I needed to and I am extremely grateful that he has never tried to disappoint me. It really meant a lot to me. Especially now that I'm surrounded by wolves all claiming to be sheeps.
"Don't mention it. So why am I here?"
"I visited Aldridge earlier today." I started with a straight face.
