“No, you will not be the CEO. You are too young to be one” one of the directors scoffed annoyed.

“Who do you think will be the best to be the Temporary CEO, Mr. Ken?” I smirked at him.

“Me or any of the directors of course” he smiles at the opening.

“Mr. Ken you forgot; I hired you to be a director to help my brothers make decision while I am not here. But you have seemed to forget that I am the Chairwoman of this company, I started this company without any of you. And I can find someone better than you to replace your position,” I tell him coldly.

“I know what each of you did behind my brothers back. I see through all of your dirty plans. This meeting is not about finding a Temporary CEO. It was a meeting to arrest all of you for scheming to murder my brother. I have all the evidence gather and given to the police. I am happy to know that you have no family, or they would have been disappointed with your actions” I laughed at them as I signaled Lee to open the door.

A group of officers walked in and handcuffed every single director who walked out begging for forgiveness. Yet I am ruthless once someone touch my family.

“Boss, what is the plan now?” one of my teammates, Alexa asked me. My teammates are older than me, yet they treat me for who I am and not for my age.

“I think we need to have a meeting with SL Corporation and figure out a way to continue the project” I sighed. We can throw this project away, but my brothers worked hard on this. I need to help them to finish this.

“Okay, we will arrange for a meeting with them,” Alexa smiles at me softly.

“Thank you, guys for coming right away” I smiled at my team.

“Boss, you pay us well and we work to show our appreciation” James smiles as rest of my team nods in agreement.

I did not go home for the night; I stayed in my office clearing up all the pending work and working on the almost destroyed project.

“The meeting is scheduled for tonight at their restaurant for 6pm. They are inviting to have dinner with their family” Alexa informs me as she looks at me.

“What is Karmen planning now?” I look at her as she smiles softly.

“Too be honest, I am not sure. My husband has changed a lot in the last 10 years since I know him, but he changed for better once he met you last year. Yet when he plans something for you, I can never figure out the reason behind it” Alexa sighs.

I look at her softly.

“He loves you and whatever he plans is always for a good reason” I reasoned with her, and she nods.

“Go home, shower and rest before you go for the dinner” Alexa stands up.

“Not going home. It is not home without my brothers there” I sighed, leaning back into my chair.

“You want to stay with us? We will love the company” Alexa asks me, I shook my head. I still want to be alone for now.

“I understand, but our home is always ready for you” Alexa pats my head as she left.

She treats me like a sister she never had. I like her, she is sweet, she is always there to listen to me when I cannot speak to my brothers.

I took her advice to rest before the dinner meeting. I went to my penthouse, that I brought when something like this happens. I showered and went to rest and was only able to sleep for half an hour. I scrolled through channels to watch something to relax my mind. I came upon a music channel I let it play.

Soon it was time to get ready for the dinner. I decide to wear a black turtleneck and long sleeve dress that covers my knees. I paired it with a heeled boot. I wore a dangling diamond earring Liam gifted me as a new year gift. He just wanted to buy it for me, and he came up with a random reason to waste money on me.

“You look great my dear” Alexa greeted me as I open the door to the car. In the driver seat, Karmen was seating there smiling at me with love.

“Thank you!” I smiled at her before glaring at Karmen,

“What did I do now?” he asks me with scared expression.

“You forgot to bring me out for ice cream last month” I looked at him angrily.

It was our thing and our time together. Karmen was someone I opened up to before I spoke to my brothers. He showed and taught me that not everyone is bad. He showed me the difference. He taught me self-defense and how to shoot with a gun.

“I am sorry, darling. I was held up by something. You choose two dates for this month, and I am all yours” he promises me.

“Nope, I will not be free until my brothers wake up” I saw a flash of hurt pass his eyes. It happens every time I call Liam and Lucas my brother. I have suspicious of why, but I am not sure if want it to be true. I will not be able to react to it.

“There is a table booked under SL Corporation, Mr. Silver booked it” Alexa spoke the host, who then led us to a private room.

Karmen was behind me while Alexa walked in front of me.

“Welcome, Ms. Gomez,” one of the guys greeted Alexa, making her chuckle softly as she shakes her head.

“I am sorry, Mr. Silver, I am Alexa, Ms. Gomez’s assistant. I will introduce you to her” She steps aside as I step forward to her side.

“This is Ms. Gomez, who is currently covering her brothers’ absence,” she introduces me.

“Mr. Silver, a pleasure to meet you. And I think someone has some explanation to do, before we start on our dinner” I smiled forcefully as I look at Karmen.

“Karmen?” the men in room shouted.

“Damn, I forgot how loud these idiots can be. Hello family!” Karmen greets his family as all of their jaws dropped to the floor in shock.

“I guess you did not tell your brothers that you are back?” I smirked at him as I sipped on my drink.

“You know that they are related to me?” Karmen asked me shocked,

“Kar, you should not be shocked at this,” I smiled as he nodded.

“Now, I want to know why this drama. You made my brothers to convince me to attend the same school as your younger brothers, now I am meeting your brothers. I do not know if you caused the accident of my brothers. But Karmen, if you did, you would not like it” I warned him as I clenched the glass tightly close to breaking it.

“Nope, the accident was not in my plan, your brothers were supposed to be here with us now,” he tells me softly making me to relax slightly.

“I know it will a hard for everyone to process this,” Karmen addressed the whole table making us to look at him,

“Our family is finally reunited. Everyone is here right now” he announced with a smile.

“What do you mean? Our sister is not here?” One of the younger twins shouted while the football team captain stares at me.

“She is Willow, our sister Willow?” the captain points at me in shocked while Karmen nodded.

“I was right. There was a reason behind this dinner” I shake my head smiling.

“You are not shocked,” Karmen’s twin, Jordan asks me.

“Nope, I had a suspicion that Karmen might be related to me, as he always looks hurt when I call Liam and Lucas my brothers,” I answered him.

“Look, I appreciate this reunion. But I am here to settle the project that was almost destroyed by my useless directors,” I inform Jordan and his brothers.

I slide my tablet to Karmen who is the CEO of the company. He looks through the project information and proposal.

“It will work,” he said as he signed the documents.

“Thank you for the dinner but I have places to be” I stood up.

“Come on, darling. Give us a chance,” Karmen speaks softly.

“Karmen, you know about my past. You should know that it will take time,” I look at him.

“Take all the time you need” Karmen smiles at me.

I nodded and left.
