It has been a month since I started school, I made a few friends more like I joined Brandon’s group of friends.

They informed me that it has been drama free as the football team and cheerleader team are currently on sports tour. They will be back to school this month. I joined the Technology club, currently we are taking part in a competition, to create a useful app. I am leading the team after they saw how good I am with coding and programming.

We are creating a food delivery app that will deliver to students during their lunch time allowing them to have more variety of choices for school. Before we started on this app, we got the permission from our principal to allow our student body to be our beta tester. He was more than happy to allow it. He said that this club has yet to bring back any trophy and he hope that we can win it this time.

“It seems you are enjoying school,” Lucas tells me as we ate our breakfast.

“Yes, it is interesting, but it is going to get more interesting today according to Brandon” I tell them.

My brothers have met my friends, let just say it took them one month to speak to Brandon properly as he was the only guy in the group as of now. But I still see the glares thrown at them behind my back. I wonder how they will be when they meet the other two guys in the group.

Liam and Lucas are overprotective of me, which can be suffocating at times, but I know why they are like that. I love them a lot. They showered me with unconditional love and affection.

“Come on, it is time for school,” Liam calls me.

Lucas left early as he has some early morning meeting. It does not feel right with me. I will share this thought with Liam to make sure he keeps a look out for our brother.

“I will do so, I will also keep you updated every hour,” he smiles at me softly, he kissed my forehead.

“Have fun at school, Willow. Lucas and I love you to the moon and back,” he waves at me as I walk into the school.

I still cannot fight away the gnawing feeling that is eating me inside.

“What’s wrong Low?” Brandon asks me as he throws his hand around my shoulder.

“I am not sure what. But I know today is not going to me a good day for me” I sighed as I lean into his side craving for the warmth.

“It will be fine, we are here for you,” he hugs me should I felt more arms arounds. Looking up I saw the whole group is hugging me.

“Thank you, guys,” I thanked them as I feel slightly better.

“Anyways, they are back. They all seem to be a bad mood. I heard that they lost to our rival school” Payton whispers not wanting anyone to hear her. We all nod our head.

“Hey guys!” two voices were heard behind us, the girls smiled.

“Kade! Nathan! Welcome back” the three of shouted at their friends, they must be the missing boys.

“You must be Willow, the new girl,” Kade shakes my hand followed by Nathan who decided to hug me instead.

“Nice to meet you two. I have heard lots of things from the group” I smiled.

“Good things I hope. They like to make us look bad. When they are the real devils” Kade glared at his friends, but I saw the affection in it.

“Nah, they were saying good things” I smiled lying.

“I like her. Willow, we know they told you everything without hiding anything. They rarely invite new people to our group and the people they invited has never betrayed us. And it is nice to see you covering them,” Nathan laughs.

“Guys, stay out of the Sliver brothers and queen bees’ way. They are pissed for losing the game. And they are throwing their anger at anyone who are in their way” Kade warns, we nodded in reply.

We managed to stay out of their way until lunch. The whole cafeteria was dead silent no one was speaking.

The empty table for the past month was filled with the queen bees and the football team, yet Kade and Nathan sits with us. They say they hate that suffocating table.

Out of nowhere my phone rings loudly. Making the whole cafeteria to look at me. I ignored the look the minute I saw the caller ID, it was Lee, Lucas’s PA. He rarely calls me.

I answer the call, to only hear ambulance sirens in the background, my heart drops, and I can feel my face going pale.

“Lee, you better start speaking or I am going to burying 6 feet under,” I threaten him loudly, forgetting about the audience.

“Boss, your brothers’ were met with an accident, they are currently being transported to our hospital, I have send a car to pick you up” he spoke fast but I managed to catch what he said. I picked up my bag and stood up.

I saw the group standing up with me as well. I look at them in confusion.

“We do not know what happened, but we are not letting you go alone” Camelia stated in a tone that does not allow me to argue back. I turned around to only be blocked by someone.

I hear my friends suck in their breathe. I look up to see the captain of the football team, that is what written on his blazer, standing in my way. He was making me more pissed off.

“Look, I do not have time to listen to you, I am in a rush, I will appreciate if you give way now” I tell him as politely I could.

“No. You spoke when I needed silence to clear my thoughts, you pissed me off and I think you should know the consequence for disturbing me” he gritted out.

“If you wanted silence, you should have gone to library not here. And if you do not move out of my way, you will not like the consequences of blocking my way,” I said as look up at his face for the first time. I saw him looking shocked as he gasped softly. I hear two more gasps behind him.

“It cannot be” I hear the captain whisper.

“Look, I do not know what you are talking about, but bloody hell move out of my way,” I screamed at him, making him give way. I ran the hell out of the school with my friends in tow. We got into the car and the driver sped off.

“I want update on their condition the minute I reach the hospital,” I inform Lee, who replies to me with a okay.

“What happened?” Brandon asks as I tugged on my hair,

“My brothers are in the hospital, they were hit by a truck,” I informed them as I hold back a scream.

“It’s okay to cry Willow” Payton hugs me.

I shake my head,

“No, I cannot cry now. I have to be strong for them. They will hurt more if I cry” I sniffled.

“The surgery was a success, but they are currently in Coma. Doctors are not sure when they will wake up” Lee informs me softly.

“Okay,” I nodded. They will wake up soon, I tell myself. I close my eyes, take a deep breathe to organize my thoughts. I open them again, I look at my friends sadly, this past month has been fun. But my brothers needed me more.

“I am so sorry guys. This might be the last time we will see each other for a while” I inform them making them to frown in confusion.

“Prepare my suit for the afternoon board meeting. I want the accident investigation to be done by then. No one messes with my family and get away with it. Call my full team in,” I ordered Lee as my persona changed to my cold one. Lee rushes off to prepare for my arrival.

“We will come over every day to have lunch and dinner with you. You are not allowed to say no” Kade orders me, making me to nod in agreement.

“We will leave now and talk to you tomorrow, take care. We love you” Payton says as she hugs me.

I smile at her softly. I thank the group for being here with me.
