Liam and Lucas made me go on a school shopping trip with them. We went to three different malls, just to get a huge number of stationery and clothes. Apparently, I am not allowed to wear the same clothes to hang out with my friends, if I do any. That is what they said, not me. I prefer to wear hoodies and sweatpants all day long. Oh, did I mention that I only have black clothes? All my clothes until now were only in black. They made me buy clothes that were different colors. I drew a line when they started to take neon colors. Nope, they are too bright for me. It is finally Monday. I woke up at 5am, I showered and changed into my uniform, which was a white shirt tucked into a knee-length skirt, and a blazer. I am allowed to wear any kind of covered shoes. I am going with the Black Martins. I carried my blazer and my black galaxy-styled bag down, placed them on the couch, and I walked into the kitchen. I looked into the pantry and browsed through what we had. And I decided on making a basic breakfast, which consisted of pancakes and bacon. “Thank you for the breakfast, sister”. Liam kissed my forehead, while Lucas hugged me. “We will drop you off at school, and after school, either one of us will pick you up or send a driver to pick you up. You can decide whether you want to come to the company or return home”, Lucas informs me and leaves me to decide. “I will let you know later. I want to see how the day goes first” I said after finishing my drink. They both nodded. We talked about our plans for the week. We do this every Monday to plan our free times together. It is our way of living, I guess. “Alright, let's go. We do not want Willow to be late on her first day of High School” Lucas clapped his hands as we walked out to our garage. “Which car?” Liam looked at me, “SUV”. I smiled at him. I am not into getting unwanted attention. We have lots of limited cars and some cars that we only have. We use it when we are travelling or attending some business-related events. “Have fun at school. Our phone will always be with us. Therefore, call us if you need anything,” Liam looked at me with concern. “I know, and I will be fine. This will be child's play”, I laughed. “While I hope you will be fine”, Lucas placed a kiss on my cheek. “Yup, our warrior will be fine”. Liam kissed me on my other cheek. Waving at them one last time, I walked into the school. It was loud. I mean, what did I expect? This is a building with thousands of students of ages from 13 to 18 years old. They are bound to be loud, as they chat with their friend group. I walked into the main office and went to the lady at the desk. “Good Morning, it is my first day here,” I greeted her as I got her attention. She smiles at me warmly and stands up. “Good morning, dear. Can I know what your name is?” she asks me. “My name is Willows, my surname is Gomez,” I informed her. She nods and types something on the computer and soon the printer whirred to life, printing a few papers. “Alright, this is your late pass for the next few classes. I have already emailed you the timetable,” she informs me as she passes me the late passes. “Now come on, I will show you around the school. You can ask me any question you have,” she walked over to me. We left the office; the hallway was cleared of students. I guess classes had begun. That was the purpose of the late passes. “I will not bore you with the school history. Just know that we are 100 years old. We have around 9000 students, but each class has around 20-25 students. We have students who stay in the dorm. We have students from all over the world, mostly on scholarships. We have zero tolerance for bullying and violence. With that said, we are aware of bullying happening in our school but no one is willing to make a report against it.We do provide classes as part of the curriculum,” she rambles on about the school. She is actually blunt and honest. And I like that about her. She is not fake. “This is the cafeteria, where you will have your lunch. The food is great. After all, this school is high on health and enjoying youth”, she smiles. “Is school food meant to be bad?” I asked, looking at her confused. “Yes, most high schools provide cardboard-tasting food. I mean that was the taste when I went to high school years ago”. She laughs at her memory. “Is high school fun? I have been homeschooled all my life”. I look at her. “Mmm, that is an interesting question. Different people have different views about this. To me, this is the place where you will learn a lot about reality and about different types of humans. You may meet the ones that will stay with you forever or the people that will teach you a lesson that you will never forget, changing you forever”, she answers me with a small smile. “My advice is enjoy the journey and go with the flow. After a few years, when you look back you will remember the lessons”, she pats my shoulder softly. “Alright, this is your third lesson. After your fourth class you can go for lunch,” she tells me as we stop in front of a closed door. I thanked her and watched her walk back to her office. I opened the door and the whole room fell silent, looking at me. “Yes, how can I help you?” the teacher asks me as he watches me. “Hello sir, I am Willow Gomez, I just finished the school tour”. I informed him detailed and respectfully. His lips turned downwards, and I saw his disgust as he analyzed me. I watched him carefully; he asked me to enter the class and instructed me to sit at the back of the class. There was an empty pair of tables and chairs. I take a seat right beside the windows. The whole class sucked in their breath. I looked up as the students turned their heads to the front. I shrugged. Right then another student walked in and once again I felt the gaze shifting towards me. “No one normally dares to sit beside me,” a deep voice speaks. I looked up to see a guy wearing a hoodie taking a seat next to me. “I love the location, it is far away from the teacher’s gaze, who seems to dislike me for unknown reasons”, I whispered to him, not wanting to disrupt the class. “Ah, you are honest, unlike most of the girls in this school” he smiled. I think that is a good thing. Well, I do not think I am going to change myself for anyone. I mean I have already changed myself once. I am not going to let it happen again. “I like you, and something tells me, that if I hang around you more, I will get to see lots of drama and I love dramas that do not involve me”, he, smiles at me brightly, causing me to return the smile. “Brandon,” he holds out his hand, “Willow” I replied, shaking his hand. “I will introduce you to my friends at lunch. For now, show me your timetable”, he looks at me and smiles. “We have all the classes together, it’s like this was fated” he smiles. This guy is an easy-going person with a bad boy persona. I guess he hates people as much as I do.
