CHAPTER5

Steven dragged me inside my room and sat me down on top of my bed. He looked at me for some time, looked elsewhere and back at me again.
"What is Skylar? Where did you go today? Didn't I tell you not to cause trouble for me and yourself? Why did you go out?" He asked.
"I wanted to go and see my friend, what's wrong with what I did?" I asked, and he sat next to me.
"I know how you feel, and I know you really want to know how it feels to have a friend and be who you want, and sometimes I'm against how father treats you, but this time I think you should take their advice. Father really knows what he is saying!" He said and I looked at him.
"If you really support your father, then you should know what they are talking about. Can you tell me about it?" I asked.
"Don't tell me No! I want to know!" I added.
"I sat with Madden Myles today, and he doesn't really look like what the rumors say about him, but according to everybody, he didn't deny the accusations placed on him!" Steven said.
"The rumors said that he killed his parents. I don't know how it happened, but he has a twin brother who hates him very much. Myles didn't deny that he killed his parents, he said that he killed them, but I'm sure there are more stories behind everything", he explained.
"That's unlike him, he is really nice to me and doesn't look like someone who has killed, I said, and he nodded.
"I Know! He was very nice to me today, even though he doesn't know me. We had a little talk, but I need to tell you that sometimes those who are nice to you are likely to be very dangerous" he said, and I smirked.
"That means you are very dangerous because you are nice to me!" I said.
"Don't compare me with him. I'm your brother, I am supposed to be nice to you, but again, I don't want you to regret anything later in the future. If your heart really wants him, then go for him. In the future, if anything happens, don't blame anybody!" he said. I smiled and then frowned again.
"Are you trying to say I would regret it?" I asked.
"You may regret, you may not regret. The choice is yours. I just hope father isn't serious about his last statement. Don't make father disown you. The world is really dangerous only for you to live in. If you can really show father that Myles isn't who they think he is, then I'm sure he would approve of you," he explained, and I nodded.
"But I don't care, I just love him, I don't care about what the rumors say, what if it was a mistake, or he took the blame for another person, some people might have threatened him" I suggested, and he laughed.
"Madden Myles? Who would ever threaten Madden Myles? Even though he didn't kill his parents, he is ruthless and also heartless. He has a special way of dealing with someone before finally killing them. His brother can't even do anything to him" Steven explained, and I was interested in it.
"Do you mean he kills for a living? I asked.
"No! Do you know, the Moonlight pack is the richest and strongest pack ever. That's because Myles has never gone to any war before and lost, and sometimes when he takes down a particular wicked pack, he takes out their wealth too, he is like the founder of Moonlight wealth, and nobody dares him, the only person who gets on his nerves is his brother" Steven explained more. I think his life is not dangerous but interesting and a secret to uncover.
"So what do you believe about him? Just say something from your mind!" I said and he smiled.
"I can't judge someone I haven't known much about, and I am not the kind of person who believes rumors, except I see for myself or experience I won't come to a conclusion of saying anything about the person," he said, and I nodded, he is right.
"You are indirectly saying that you don't believe the stuff that they said he killed his parents, or even though he did, he might have his reasons, his father might have been maltreating him or.."
"He is his parents' favorite son, he cannot be maltreated by them."
"And do you mean, since father is maltreating you, you will one day make his life, and end?" He asked.
"You know I can't do that, and I don't have the right to do so, Alpha would just kill me alpha way by just snapping his fingertip!!" I replied.
"And why were you bugging me with messages today?" I asked.
"If I had known you would cause trouble for yourself, I would have tied you up in a chair, you made father say something I know he would regret, but in the other case, you really shouldn't have gone out" he said, and I laid on the bed. Since he said I shouldn't really have gone out, then I really did make a mistake by going out, but I won't give up on my love for Myles.
"I have another thing to tell you. Actually, while I was sending you all these messages, Myles was beside me, and I told him you were my sister, but I'm not sure that he knows, the person who he met is my sister". He explained and I stood up.
"I hope you didn't leave any bad impression on me, even though he doesn't know now, he will one day know, I hope you said something nice and cool about me, right? I asked him and he knocked my head off.
"I'm sorry, but I told him you are very timid, that's leaving a bad impression, right?" He asked and stood up to leave.
"Evans Steven!!" I yelled.
