It was a bright good morning, and I still couldn't stop thinking about what Steven told me about Alpha's, even though I went to school and learned things about them, it wasn't up to the level of knowing this much about their life. Steven is an Alpha, and I'm sure no one can explain it better than him.
"Good morning my lady!" My maid, Mira, greeted me with a bow.
"The Alpha King wants you to come down for breakfast!" She said,
"I'll have my breakfast here in my room!" I ordered, and went to the bathroom to take a bath. I wore a long red gown with bare shoulders that showed my sexy curves. If I was to be the real me, I wouldn't choose to wear this.
I sat patiently on the bed waiting for my maid to bring in the food, but she came back without anything.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"My lady! The alpha King said you should come down and eat it. You aren't allowed to eat in your room. She replied, and I laid down on the bed. It wasn't a surprise to me that he would say this kind of thing.
"My lady! I think you should go downstairs and eat well. You look pale, and you are not fit to be like this, please my lady", she begged. I looked at her and smiled.
Mira has always been my friend, she was more considerate of me. I stood up from bed and headed downstairs to the dining table. My parents and brother were already eating.
"Good morning, alpha king, Good morning Mom, hi big brother". I greeted and sat next to Steven.
"Did Father say anything about me?" I whispered.
"He hasn't said anything!" He replied and I began eating.
"I won't be home today, father. I have to go represent our pack at the meeting today", He said to my father, who only nodded without looking at him.
"He's careful!" Mother said.
"You will have to stay on your own today. Don't miss me too much, I will be back before you know it!" He whispered and I scoffed. I'm sorry to shock you all, but I have somewhere to go too.
"Does anyone have anything to tell me, I won't be around today? I want to meet the generals of the pack and your mom will tag along. If I'm not around, just drop a message to Mr Han! Dad ordered and left the table with Mom.
The moon goddess had finally shown me mercy. Taking my parents out from reaching out to me was the best thing I have ever wanted, it was like a dream, and it's finally coming true. Now I can do what I want without getting bothered.
I stood up from the seat, and ran to my room.
"Mira, take me through the back door, I need to go out!" I said.
"My lady.."
"No questions Mira, and don't tell my father about this, I won't put you in trouble, just make sure to cover you for me" I said, tapped her shoulder and went out. From the back door, guards were hardly seen around there, so it was free or me to go in and go out.
I ran through the bushes as fast as my legs could carry me, I was running as if something was after my life, but the main reason I am running like this is that I don't want to leave before I get there.
When I got to the particular spot I met him yesterday, I stopped and heard slaying sounds of sword, I smiled.
I happened to meet him when I escaped home yesterday. I just wanted to see the beauty of the world and bumped into him coincidentally. We didn't talk too much. I only asked him a little thing about him and told him a lot about myself, even when he didn't ask.
He is no other person than Myles.
"Hi", I waved at him and walked up to him.
"Hi, Skyler, I didn't expect you to come here today!" He added, he dropped his sword and sat down while I sat next to him.
"I was bored with him, so I decided to come here. I didn't expect to see you here again!" I lied. I really knew I would see him here.
"So how have you been?" I asked and he just nodded.
"Why didn't you tell me your pack was the head of all packs in this city, I mean the richest and most powerful of them all!" I asked and he looked at me surprisingly.
"I thought you would know because I mentioned the Moonlight pack, everyone knows about it" he said. Well I don't. I felt embarrassed.
"Sorry! I'm not too interested in things like that, I just like living a cool life. You will understand when you get to know me!" I answered, and he turned well to look at me.
"Okay! Let me introduce myself properly. I'm Madden Myles, Alpha of the moonlight pack. I have a second brother, and I'm sure everyone is bound to know him, the rest of me, you can understand when you get to know about me!" He introduced me with a smile and I blushed. He was so handsome, his eyes, body, skin, hair, everything about him was making me lost. I think I love him. It's love at first sight.
"Then let me introduce myself pro.."
"You already did yesterday. I already know almost everything about you. I don't know, but for a reason, I think you are fun to be with. Seriously, I don't have friends, but your first impression of me was great!" Is this a compliment? I'm just overboard.
"Thank you!" I replied.
"I won't be staying out long today, I have something to attend to at home. Do you mind I can drop you off?" He asked and I shook my head.
"I would love to stay out for a few moments!" I replied and he left me.
