CHAPTER 18 – THOR’S ENCHANTED GOATSThey arrived at the island as originally intended, and as they moored Skidbladnir, a large man with a red beard emerged from the edge of the forest. It was Thor.
“Erik, Son of Man!” he bellowed. “This is not some little lake you are sailing on, you know. This is the World Sea, and it is not without its dangers!”
Thor was angry and Erik hung back nervously. “We are not up against mice or sparrows. This is a serious matter, do you understand now?”
Erik nodded mutely.
“Never do that again!”
“No,” Erik mumbled. “But how could you see what happened?”
“I didn’t, but Odin saw it from his throne. Thankfully, he can still see this far, and I came at once. If anything had happened, I was ready to throw Mjölnir, but luckily that was not necessary.”
