CHAPTER 17 – THE MIDGARD SERPENTThe next day, Trud returned to Asgard. Ull went out to say goodbye to her, while Erik was content with just holding her hand. She squeezed his hand warmly for a long time, smiling at him, her eyes sparkling in the sunlight, then she mounted her horse and rode off. Now Erik could resume his daily practice with Ull, and they were soon back in their normal routine.
During breaks in their training, Erik was occasionally allowed to try the strange weapons and other remarkable items that Ull possessed.
