Despite the fact that I was not really familiar with Corbin, I was aware of his reputation among the working student organization and that he was always a very lovely man. Even though he was likely aware of what his father did, why would he try to damage Lachlan's reputation for me by making untrue accusations against him? Because I already despise Lachlan, there was really no use in informing me about him. Given that he most likely or potentially saw me conversing with Lachlan, Corbin may have discovered that I knew him and may have sought to harm Lachlan’s reputation by telling me the truth.
