AXEL A suffocating silence surrounded me. It pressed down on my chest like a weight. I blinked and looked around, confused at what I was doing back at the family estate and where everyone had disappeared to. Something in the back of my mind told me this wasn’t right, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Things just seemed… strange.
