Let’s take a moment to reflect on the absolute madness that has unraveled in my life over the past few days.
First, my dad drops a bombshell on me; he wants me to get married to his boss. Married. Not dated, not casually introduced, not meeting up and hanging out but getting married! Like what the hell. Before I can even digest that ridiculous statement, a date is fixed like I’m some business deal being finalized over a handshake.
Then, before I know it, I find myself in a car..unknowingly or mistakenly, I'm being driven somewhere else instead of to the man I was supposed to meet. And that one mistake spirals into something worse.
I end up spending the night with a complete stranger.
