The hero

He comes into the room and looks at the person and assesses the situation. "This won't turn out well for you if you don't let her go. I don't want to turn this situation into a blood bath but I will if you cooperate." He tells the vampire.

"Who are you to tell me what to do? Do your worse. You can't be worse then John. I see why he wants this girl she has the gift. its been over four hundred years since someone was born with the gift."

I think to myself what is he talking about? What gift? I don't have any gifts. Is this guy on Crack? I am just an ordinary person. Mr. Rivers looks at me and tells me to close my eyes with just a look. I close my eyes and pray that everything goes well.

Before I know it I don't have the body behind me anymore and the knife is gone. I felt a slight sting on my neck but nothing bad. Mr. Rivers is standing beside me and the vampire is on the ground without a head behind me.

"I'm sorry for the mess in your bedroom. I'm afraid the outfit you are wearing won't be the same after this. Why don't you go into the bathroom and clean yourself up I will find you something to wear." He tells me.

I walk into the bathroom feeling numb. I have never seen a dead body before like an out of body experience. I was there but not really there type thing. I turn on the shower to get the water hot and start to strip my blood soaked clothes. I look in the mirror at my neck and see a small cut no bigger than an inch in length. I go back to the shower and get in letting the water warm my body. I didnt know that I was cold til the water hit me. I think its the shock finally kicking in from the night. My friends are missing I have a vampire out of me. I just watched a person die in front of me. I find out that the vampire that is after me is after me for me having a gift that I don't know I have.

"Are you ok in there its been about a half hour since you entered. Did you fall? If you don't answer me in the next thirty seconds I am coming in there." he says.

"I'm fine I was just thinking about everything and lost track of time I still need to wash. I'll be out in 10 minutes" I yell back to make sure he don't come in.

"Ok just make sure wanted to make sure you were ok. I didn't know if the shock wore off and you were freaking out."

"I'm good. Thank you for worrying about me." I wash my body and my hair and climb out. I wrap my body in my favorite towel and walk to the door. "Did you get me an outfit? Where is it if you did?"

"Your outfit is hanging on the outside of the bathroom door. I will turn around so you can get it. Ok you can come out and grab it."

"Ok." I open the door a Crack and peak out making sure he isn't lying. I step out grab the outfit and return to the bathroom quickly without having any issues of him seeing me. "I'm back in the bathroom if it makes a difference. I will be out shortly." I get dressed and go out to my bedroom. There are more people there.

"Who are these people?" I ask. "Why are they in my apartment and in my room?"

"These people are here to clean up the mess I made. They are very trustworthy so you don't have to worry. Where is your suitcase so I can help you pack your stuff so we can leave here?" He asks me gently.

"The suitcase is in the back of the closet under my shoes. I will start to grab some clothes out of my dresser." I go to my dresser and start pulling out under garments and socks. I start to make a pile for the suitcase and then I go over to my bathroom and start to grav essentials to go with me. "What is taking so long for you to bring the suitcase?"

"Sorry I found you some outfits to wear while you are staying with me. I will bring it out now."

He brings it out half full with the clothes from my closet and sets it on the bed. I start to put the rest of the stuff I need into it. I start to zip it up and stop. I walk over to my jewelry and grab it. If someone can get into my house what is to say they won't take my jewelry. I pack it with the rest of my stuff and turn around. "I am ready to go."
