When we walk into my house I see everything has been moved around nothing was in its place. it looks like someone wanted to find something without anyone knowing they were there but they didn't put the stuff back in the right spot. I turn around to look at Mr. Rivers and ask. "How did you know that they would mess with my apartment? They left with my friends I never even talked to them. Why would they come here."
"They came here because of who there leader is. John is there leader. He went after your friends to get to you."
"What do you mean they went after my friends due to me? So what I turned John down. I do that all the time. I have never had a guy go after my friends."
"But the guy you turned down was a vampire. We have a tendency to become territorial when we set our eyes on someone we want."
I have a feeling he isn't telling me everything, but I don't press the issue. He will tell me when the time is right. I don't know why I trust him but I do.
"What does a vampire want with me. I just found out about them because of you. Its not like I knew before tonight. Do you know why I am being targeted?"
"I have a hunch but I don't want to say anything til I know for sure. I know its going to be hard to not ask but please refrain from it. It will save us some time in the long run."
" Ok I won't ask you. I will prefer to know sooner rather then later." I turn around to go to my room and change to leave and to gather clothes for a couple days. he starts to follow but turns around remembering what I wanted to do. I go into my my and I run right into a hard body. I scream. Mr. Rivers runs into the room to see what is going on. He sees me trapped in a person's arms with a knife to my neck.
