"We will find them. I promise you that. I have the best private investigators out there that money can buy. Lets make sure they just didn't go home. Do you know where they live?" he asks

"Yes we all live in the same apartment building that is how we met Trisha and Alexis. We live in the apartment complex that is on the corner of Maple and Pine across from the gas station in Darren. I doubt we will find them there but we can check it out you can follow me if you want." He takes out his phone and types a message to someone while we are discussing this which makes me more angry. I lash out at him.

"No need to take two vehicles. I can drive you to your place I don't want you staying there if something has happened to your friends if they are home I can just pick you up tomorrow night so you can get your vehicle."

"I don't need you to take care of me I need your help to find my friends. I will drive my own vehicle and stay in my home."

" This isn't a negotiation. You will get into my vehicle and come with me. I don't want you getting hurt if they are at your apartments. Please don't make me angry by refusing me again."

"Fine but I'm not staying at your place. You can take me to a hotel.

"No you can stay in a guest room in my house and that is final. I can't protect you if you stay in a hotel."

"Why do you want to protect me you don't even know me. I'm just a person who gave you blood. It isn't like I am a long lost friend or a girlfriend to you. I'm a stranger. Ok the faster we can get to the apartments the better that way I can show you that something is wrong and they didn't just go home without me."

What is with this girl? Mr. Rivers thinks. I can't use my powers on her to make her forget that she gave me blood like everyone else? Why am I attracted to her? I don't know who she is but I felt the need to stop that guy from raping her. Its not like I do that every time I see someone who wants to force themselves on someone I become a hero to them. Why do I feel the need to help her? why do I feel the need to protect her?

"Hello. Are we going or what? What are you day dreaming about?" I ask.

"Sorry its none of your concern what I was thinking about, and to answer your question I am waiting on the car to be brought to the back entrance so we can leave without the paparazzi knowing."

Mr. Rivers goes back to thinking. I know those guys are vampires and that they were controlling the girls just by the way their eyes glared on the camera. I am hoping they are like most vampires and just control them for a little while and then return them to their homes. I get a quick message on my phone telling me the car is ready

"Let's go. The car is waiting for us."

"Ok."

we get into the car and put on our seatbelts. Mr. Rivers puts the car in drive since the car was already on and we head south towards the apartments. It doesn't take long for us to get there. He parks in my spot and we head up the stairs to the inside so we can go to their apartments. I walk up to Alexis' first since it was the closest and knocked no answer. I fish out my keys and look for hers.

"I have a copy of all their keys incase they need me to come in and water plants or take care of their dog while they are on vacation or something. This one here is Alexis' apartment." I stick my key in the door and turn it opening the door for us to walk in. Its just the way she left it before we went to the club.

"It looks like no one has been home since we left earlier. Shall we go to Trisha's next its two doors up. Then we can go to Vicki's and see about hers."

We left Alexis' apartment and walked down the hall to Trisha's. I found her key on the ring and opened the door we found it the same way nothing out of place. We leave hers and walk to the next apartment. Vicki isn't home either and nothing is out of place.

"Let's go to your place and see if anything is amiss."

"Why would you think you would find something at my place? Ok why not. I will need to grab some clothes and necessities anyways. I don't want to stay in this dress anyways." I say walking back towards the front of the apartments to my door.
