After Christmas night…
The past few days were hurting for me. I had arrived at our private beach house and just stayed there. That was one place I would always run away from since I was a child.
Going there after so many years, I felt hit by déjà vu. I was surprised that things were just as they were but also they were clean. The environment there was refreshing and I had a lot of time to think.
At the same time, I missed Emerald a lot. I hadn’t known how deeply I had fallen for her until now. It was a lot more than I had presumed.
I wanted to bring her here but I ended up coming alone. I would bring her the next time and tell her how much I had missed her.
